After a few months after Hexatron Continum is released. Think MMC could make loads of money selling Hexatron kits that include just the newer Continum robot head and newer guns.

I would buy it, but only if it goes well with my Shadow Emissary. I hate the current head's "roundedness." I also want the katana set, since the cleavers are such a nuisance.

I would be more interested in the new tailfins. The old ones are long, silly looking, and obtrusive in robot mode.

It is not easy to remove those pin-metal bars that hold the chest-tail fins in place. In order to install the new ones, you have to first remove the old ones. removing those pin-metal bars is not easy and requires a much higher customizers skill. Due to this it's doubtful MMC would put the Tail fins in a kit,if they made a kit.

Then pins are super short. They look like they can be removed with some lube and a special pin punch very carefully. I think the new version has shorter fins because MMC realized that those long fins just get in the way of the arms to the point where it is annoying.

The pins don't have any grooves or ridges in them, so they are actually really easy to remove. I've done it with no issue.

They do look rather easy to remove. Just curious, what was your reason for removing them ? Any issues with the fins ?

No issue with the fins at all. I actually really like them - they're stylish (insofar as robot fins can be stylish).

One of the teal parts that held the pin in place had a stress mark out of the box, so I removed the pin & fin so I could blow dry the stress mark out. Only took a few minutes.
