Currently identified as "Hot Air", it's intended as a replacement for Alpha Bravo in the Combiner Wars Aerialbots group coming in the early part of 2015's Transformers line. It will probably be a while before a meaningful prototype exists - at least until Hasbro's toys are in hand for the connection port to be cloned. Keep reading to check out the early images.

He got in there pretty quick with a "dibs". Still, it was inevitable. Now we just need a new Wildrider for the Stunticons.

if theyre making slingshot, im betting wildrider is on their to-do list as well.
am i right in assuming that this is the first full figure beelzeboss has made? not only do i recall them only making head replacements and weapons, but theyve actually been off the map for a while now.

I hope they decide to wait to get the mold in hand rather than start engineering now. I want a slingshot that's the same aesthetic (very Hasbroish) I don't want a FP Crossfire aesthetic that makes you want them to make all five and forget Hasbro altogether. Basically I want a reshell of the Hasbro mold with a different head. Something like Artfeather did with the classics Bumblebee mold. Same for Wildrider. Didn't these guys once tease Throttlebots out of the Bumblebee mold ? They never came through. Same thing with their "First Aid" upgrade set for TF Prime Ratchet. I hope this time they pull it off.

Hasbro USA Combiners Wars Superion for all Five figures will cost around $75. My guess is Beelzeboss Hot Air will cost around $70.

And just like FP Munitioner and Explorer, the masses will buy it. Nothing feels better than turning a 80% accurate combiner into a 100% accurate combiner.

Thinking that Helicopter-bot for HasTak CW Superion was a Smart idea. As HasTak can use the Helicopter-bot for CW Defensor and CW Bruticus.

I honestly don't think were getting any more combiners from Hasbro unless these sell real well. (to kids) I think the coptor was just Hasbro's way of saying were not gonna go all G1 but we bet you will still buy it. While they could repaint it as Vortex and the Wildrider jeep as swindle, they still have a long way to go. I don't think Bruticus is on their "to do" list since FOC Bruticus already exists.

Speculation on a Combiner Wars Bruticus is one of things tempting me to cancel my MBC preorder. Yes, they did Bruticus recently, but... he sucked!!

hopefully its just a replacement head with replacement parts for alpha bravo (probably wouldn't be). I don't want Beelzeboss to do anything more complicated.

Not like Hasbro haven't remade characters they've done recently before. Ultra Magnus got two molds in the Prime line for some reason, and of course there are the usual repeat offenders Prime, Megs, Screamer and Grimlock. Hell we've had Half a dozen Springer toys in the last decade and he's yet to show up in any new movies or cartoons.

I'm hoping for a more Geewunn Motormaster as well. The CW one sucks IMO.

Yes! Something to keep an eye on. Slingshot was my first Transformer as a kid, with Air Raid and Skydive close behind. (I never had the full set as a kid.

) So, I was a bit bummed when CW didn't have a Harrier for Slingshot. This would scratch that itch nicely and have me going all in on CW.

Ironically, of all of Hasbro's Aerialbots, Alpha Bravo is probably the only one I will be getting because it's a new character and Superion's combined mode looks far too big for my collection.

I could be mistaken, but I recall seeing pictures where it struck me that he was much taller.
This is the only one I can find to give decent size comparison:

I cant get into Combiner Wars.. the combined mode doesn't look like its flush, as if they're just upscaling PCCs.

Think my expectations for combiner teams is just too high since 3rds began pushing them out. Hasbro just can't compete and while I haven't been disappointed by anything I've bought from Beelzeboss, I don't think 1 new figure can be a saving grace for these Combiner Wars figures.

Interesting. Shame I don't really care about the CW Superion.
Now if only FP would do to Energon Constructicon Maximus what they did to Superion and Bruticus, or at the very least release an add-on kit that makes PCC Sledge and Steamhammer work as limbs (I have Sledge coming in the mail soon- spotted him for £11 on eBay and couldn't resist. The guy's a fusion of a backhoe, rock-wheel trencher AND a bulldozer all in one! And he comes with a drill-minicon!)

I know what you mean. It looks like they took 5 robots and combined them into one big robot. It doesn't make any sense!

I don't think I've been sigged in a very long time. It gives me the warm fuzzies.

I really hope we get the CW superion in G2 colors. I just cant see replacing Uranus with that floppy ages 5 and up thing. Those stupid hands and feet gotta go. Maybe Hot Air will come with an upgrade set of combiner parts, weapons, etc.
