need, add-on kits for 30th Jetfire and Roaduster to give them articulated wrist.

Since the wrist are attached the forearms using one solid piece of plastic on the HasTak toys. 3rd parties will need to create replacements forearms with replacements fist. Kinda want the fingers to be fully articulated also.

Suppose 3rd parties can add other things in these kits like give Roadbuster more weapons. Giving Jetfire those 1985 snap on red armor gear.

Would love it if 3rd parties created some snap on parts to cover up some of 30th Jetfire's hollow inner thighs and hollow inner arms.

Giving him a new armor might hamper his transformation. But I'm all for finding a way to cover his garish forearms and those open thigh spaces. Maybe a new set of back packs similar to Daca toys'/Floro Dery's design.

Very low priority on my want list. If you want swivel wrists and pointless armor, buy Fansprojects version of roadbuster. Its got all of that. For jetfire I would recommend waiting for mech forms skyfire. The hasbro version is cheap and not worthy of add on parts. (yes I own one lol)

Should have posted this in the What Add-Ons / Upgrades / Weapons Do You Want? thread .

I would very much like different armor for Jetfire.

I can live without the wrists, but his armor, especially on the legs, is lame.

For this kit, I'd like to see get created. A gun and snap on red armor that looks like the 1985 toy accessories. Maybe with a replacement head included in the kit that looks like the 1985 toy version.

Just get some styrene plastic sheet and use it to fill in the holes if it honeslty bothers you that much.

As for the wrist swivels...who cares?

I used to do a ton of customizing.

(check out some of my old figs over at FigureRealm.com: http://www.figurerealm.com/viewcustomfigures.php?op=4&id=1413)

Most of my TFs at least got a few paint details.
But, sadly, I just don't have time these days. :(

The hollow, missing panels on the arms and legs, Don't bother me. But the non-rotate fist does bother me.

Non-rotate fist? Is that like a rotate blade?

Oh god that joke is so old kill me

Eh, wrist swivels really don't fuss me much unless it's on a figure that uses melee weapons. Don't really care much about the wrist swivels TBH. It's another overrated nice-to-have that ultimately doesn't matter that much. Like ankle tilts and waist joints.

What's wrong with Jetfire's head?

Too Patlabor-like and not enough Macross-like? I like the new head...

Tsutsukakushi do you have Leader jetfire in-hand yet? Cause in-hand I think he looks awesome and needs no add on kit. The head sculpt is one of the best things about this figure. Some hallow parts are there that kind of sucks but who cares I do think it needs some repolabels for more detailing though.

Another awesome thing is that you can take ALL of the red chromed bits off of him for a sleeker look. I find he's quite handsome looking. Wish I had a nice chin like he does. And maybe some afterburners. ;)

His forearms or lack of wrist swivel don't bother me any, but I can see where folks would appreciate something that many figures have. I just wish he was a little larger because he's not much taller than recent voyager figures - Jetfire was massive compared to most of the other guys. Also Movie Leader figures are taller and bulkier, so it just seems like they could've given us a bit more for our money. I mean, it's not like this is a one-off figure or anything *points to "Leader" Thundercracker*.

Is Roadbuster worth picking up ? his feet and arms put me off but i just watched Emgo's review and the feet push back so that's good , it's just the forearms .

Yes, I bought it at a Kmart store.

I'd recommend buying it.

Now that you mention it, yup, reminds me of the Patlabor Police mech and RB reminds me of a Zaku. For Jf, I'm having trouble choosing which face to display...........both are great.

The original and Yamato VF1-S,J,H had an armor upgrade. Sure you can no longer transform them when it's in place. That may be a possible upgrade via 3rd party for this Jetfire. Maybe make him look more boxy like the G1 cartoon?
