i like this but he's gonna tower over all the other car-bots on my classics shelf. may just stick with Hasbro's molds to maintain consistency on my shelf and money in my bank account.

Not really interested. I have Henkei Mirage and he does it just fine.

Well if its deluxe scale, I'm interested. This looks a lot better than Has/Tak's version. It gets rid of the silly feminine look we never asked for. Than Crasher (Fracture) can finally have her own exclusive mold.

I like it. Certainly don't need it. I believe HasTak will make a MP Mirage soon enough which makes this release redundant.
I'll save my money. Plus i really like my classics anyways. I think it's a great mold.

BBTS ordering listing page says it's going to be a 6.4 inch tall robot.

Like the design, It's the best Update Mirage toy i've seen thus far.

Don't need this as HasTak has already made passable Mirage update toys. Calculating that CW Dragstrip will eventually get repainted and retooled into Mirage.

Only willing to buy a 3rd party TF character toy if HasTak hasn't made one or keep making awful versions.

i can certainly understand X. while i actually love the classics mirage, i see the feminine vibe it gives off.

to everyone saying he's 6"... translation? is that deluxe sized?

A "tall" deluxe . To the tip of Cyclonus ears if that helps :D (maybe a little taller)

Classics Mirage is just fine for me. I'll wait for an official MP Mirage if/when he comes out.

Plus, $84 is stiff for a tall deluxe. I paid in that neighborhood for the Feral Rex limb bots. I can, perhaps, stomach this for Go-Bots Crasher. (Is that still the plan for this mold?) But as others have said, Classics Mirage is just fine, and not worth replacing at this price tag.

Still, I have to say that I like it for it's G1 aesthetics with modern articulation. I get a very nostalgic feel for this rendition in both bot mode and car mode. The classic Indy (or is it Formula 1) car look reminds me of the cars I loved as kid in the early to mid eighties.

Dag-nabbit....I may have almost talked myself into this.... :BANG_HEAD:

BBTS says 6.4

It appears these Ominigonix & DX9 toys are trying to make toys to be in scale with the HasTak MP TF Voyagers cars-bots.

I Often measure my TF toys. Below is my POV, Please don't overly bash it or mock it. I'm just trying to be helpful.

Legends class generally have 3 inch tall robot modes.

Commander class have around 3 to 4.5 inch robot modes

5 inches to 6 inches, I consider a deluxe scaled robot mode. Sometimes there's rare exceptions like TFA & HFTD Lockdown having a 7 inch robot mode.

The voyager robot scale generally starts at 6 inches and almost ends at 7.3. With rare exceptions here and there.

The $27 USA Ultra toys often have anywhere from 6 inch bulky robot modes to 8 inch tall robot modes.

The leader scale can vary from 8 inch to 10.5 inch tall robot modes. With TFA Starting the 8 inch robot modes. Armada combined Optimus Is the tallest Leader scale toy.

Supreme or ultimate can range from 12 inches to 17 inches tall in robot modes.

16 CM is just under 6.3 (6.29921 if you want to be exact. Thank you Google.) [Edit] Oh, and Tsut, it says 16CM right in the picture. I don't know where BBTS got their measurement from.[/edit]

I look at it about 6 and a quarter or so. Is it to the head? Is it to the tip of the missile? We could debate that for a long time until someone gets it in hand. I think we can say it is a large deluxe or very small voyager. (Those shorter voyagers in my collection have a lot of bulk to them. Right, Bulkhead? Additionally, Hasbro's scale of deluxes and voyagers appear to have shrunk over the years.)

I think it's silly to continue to worry about the exact height measurement. Gauging height and bulk would be a better estimate, especially when compared with other figures. That's why I really like pics next to something else that people generally already have.

As near as I can estimate, he'll be about the size of Classics Sideswipe, a head taller than the recent car deluxes like Crosscut/Skids, and a head shorter than Voyager Springer/Sandstorm and Blitzwing/Doubledealer. But again, without comparison pics, I don't know how it'll look in my classics collection.

 Aware that BBTS always gets the cm to inches conversions wrong. Have a cm to inches Conversion site, I use to check BBTS wrong conversions.

These Omnigonix & DX9 cars-bots are being made to scale next to HasTak's MP Voyager scale cars-bots. Which all have the same height and bulk. Since HasTak calls the HasTak MP Cars-bots Voyager toys, then the DX9 and Omnigonix cars-bots are also Voyager scale.

This looks like a combination of Fansproject Dragstrip with Classics Mirage. Anyone else seeing this?

Nope, looks just like Mirage to me. :)

If he's about as big as Jazz, I'm a happy camper.

Preordered.

Look at the legs. It looks exactly the same as Classics Mirage. Even the same feet and same ankle tilts. His arms looks exactly like FP dragstrips'

I don't see it.

I'm a bit confused as to why UT is working on characters that have already been done, but I guess the Go-Bots characters don't have all that much repaint potential otherwise...

Could it also be that this is intended to fill a MP slot? It seems just a little big for my classics...

It's very MP looking and an excellent G1 update so i guess it could be , but then again everything 3rdp taller than a Hasbro deluxe is masterpiece these days right ?

Eh, no thanks. The robot mode looks a bit weird and the vehicle mode looks like a doorstop on wheels. I'll just get myself a Classics Mirage.

but i dont think it would "fit" right with the MP's either. when making this mold they should have seriously looked at generations and MP scale, and chose one. not something in between that looks like it fits neither.
