Im good with the Hasbro ROTF version. I don't need a cross between IDW and AOE.

 Think it looks a bit like the Construct-bots AOE Lockdown toy.

I'm confused as what this is. Does this MMC Lockdown use one of the MMC DJD toys, with retool parts and a new color scheme?

Wondering what alt mode it Transforms into and what scale this toy is.

Currently my 3rd party spending budget only goes towards 1980's Update TF toys. So the price has to be low and the sculpt needs to blow me away in order for me to buy it.

Might be tempted to buy a 3rd party AOE Lockdown toy for $80 Voyager- Ultra or $120 leader scale. if it's done in either the Ultra Human Alliance toy scale or Leader toy scale. Ofcause it needs to transform into that AOE movie sports car design. and look like the AOE Movie Lockdown CGI robot mode

Sorry T, this is what you get from MMC for 2015. Plus a s**tload of Fembots and a sabertooth tiger. No Carnifex, maybe in 2016. #-o

I'm with X on this one - RotF Lockdown suits the character just fine.

Wish MMC would have provided a vehicle pic.

My favorite Lockdown toy is the HFTD Version.

No, I won't be buying this 3rd party MMC Lockdown toy.

Guess i'm the only one interested in buying this , i love Lockdown and very much want a classic representation .

I totally agree that ROTF LD is awesome and he is in my classics display but i need something that matches the aesthetics of the rest .

Now all i need is for that Bludgeon to show up and some one to make a classics Barricade and that will clear out my movie figures in my classsics collection.

He looks a bit... round. And like Mkall and Rated X said, my Lockdown need is filled very nicely, thank you.

I'm down for this guy! I like the AoE homage they pulled with the rifle head, and I'd really like to see more of that weapons/trophy cabinet. I'm happy with the proportions on this guy, as well as the hook arm. Now only to see some alt mode pictures.

If the alt mode totally ROCKS, then I'm interested, but with what I see, I have to agree with the majority, my Lockdown needs are filled.

Over at the TFW forums, Some members are sxpeculating that this below is MMC's Lockdown's alt mode.

Image

Some Members on the TFW forums in this thread http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transform ... own-9.html That this MMC Lockdown toy might be a joke, possible revamped IDW Cyclonus cancelled toy. Some are speculating that MMC might plan to release both Lockdown and Cyclonus using the same mold.

Think it's possible, Since MMC is remolding and recoloring all of those DJD toys into other character TF toys.

I'd buy a IDW Cyclonus toy if it's a 7+ Inch Voyager scale robot mode. If it's MP seeker scale or MP Leader scale. Won't be interested if it's a deluxe scale or if it's a tiny short Voyager like KFC Tempest is.

Personally this lockdown is the most interesting figure to come out of tfcon , i can't see it being a decoy if it was during the slideshow .

I find the fact they didn't show the alt the interesting part leaving a lot to the imagination .

The weapons rack is awesome like 6 different tools to change the hook with , then it looks like trophy heads in the center plus LED showing them off , im wondering if it has another purpose .

The movie heads are a nice touch crossing the movie into classics style is very much welcome here .

And the universal drift sword .

The only thing im concerned about is the back kibble between his legs

I think i'd enjoy a classics lockdown. looks like the back kibble in the renders isn't present/seen in the prototype pictures...or im just missing it.

Over at TFW some of the forum members are speculating that the locker can attach to the toy in both modes. To help fill out both modes.

I'll say this much: Jaegetron is the coolest name for a 3P figure I've heard in a while.

As it stands I'd rather just go for the ROTF mold but this is interesting.

I very much prefer to keep my ROTF and AOE Lockdown's separate.

I am intrigued at the possibility of an IDW Cyclonus, however... that would be awesome.

I'm fully behind the cross over , If this had been an Animated/ROTF Lockdown style then i would have had an issue but this is a new take on the character , yes leaning more towards AOE in terms of the shape of the figure and the head swaps but it's an original look for Lockdown (as far as i know) and i feel the cross over easily gets a pass as it doesn't look like any of the three Lockdown toys out.

The sculpt on this figure is awesome very different from what we have been getting lately and if this will retool Cyclonus i could be down for one .

Phoenix Blaze wrote:If this is the same design I saw at Auto Assembly after talking with Cassy Sark then he has a cybertronian jet alt mode and the storage locker transforms into a sort of extra set of boosters/wing extensions.

This is also the mould he plans on doing a Death's Head from, in fact that's what it was for originally apparently.

Cast wrote:Cassy said at Roll Out Roll Call that it was pretty much designed as the other character that we won't be naming first

Just thought I would drop a couple of quotes from the TFW2005 boards which I hadn't seen mentioned here.

I wonder, if Deaths Head was big in Japan if we would have had a decent Voyager sized DH by now, from any 3p company really? :-?
