This SW kit was rumored to become a full figure and was on display a TFCon .

The kit is available on shapeways but nonnef and I are going to release the kit in plastic as well as releasing a full figure in the same plastic

We hope to have things ready by the end of the year but realistically probably not till first quarter 2015
As for scale it's gonna stay at what it is now but it does scale nicely with springer. He's a larger deluxe

This is complete speculation here, but could this be related to the Hasbro/Shapeways relationship?

Nope. One of Hasbro's rules is no transforming figures.

Ah, gotcha. Makes me wonder how Shapeways is pulling this off, then...

I'm guessing this is a shapeway kit that is going to be a full figure when it gets picked up and produce by a third party company? kind of like the boosticus set?

Looking at it, it looks like it's a conversion kit for DOTM Tomahawk, which is likely how it can go under the Hasbro/ Shapeways' deal.

I guess that the full figure will likely build from this, while not being a direct KO of Tomahawk.

But it does look good ^^
