Now CrazyDevy has come full circle yet again (the first was when they provided upgrade parts for TFC's Hercules set). It's nice that the wings are a bit larger than the default version, but they certainly wouldn't look good oversized on Talon. Also, I'm happy with the paint job on the figures already. The shiny gold throws off the color coordination already present.

I'll pass on this item.

I don't need this. My original use for CrazyDevy was to add Classics-style stuff to G1 Combiners.

CD is still in business? Huh, with their overpriced items I thought they'd gone under.

Yup. Paint job is great already. This isn't needed.

id buy this set if it were for TFC ares. no that i even have any issue with his wings. but y'know. their damn big n'gold.

Am I right in guessing this is for the HasTak 1986 and reissues Predaking toys.

It's for MMC's Feral Rex, as stated in title and image in 1st post

If they are the same size I might consider getting them. Only if I go for the reprolabels sets though with the chrome. But lately Ive been feeling way too lazy for reprolabels. If these are bigger than the original wings, ill pass. Crazy devy needs to make a new head with a better visor and faceplate without the toy accurate smile which looks stupid.

Just going by the first post these appear to be a little bigger, but not so much bigger that it would look out of place.

You'll have to judge for yourself, but if they weren't from Crazy Devy at crazy prices I'd consider getting them myself.

This is a $20 item to me, since I think the wings look pretty good as they are.

It can actually be had for under $40. And the CD Predaking head also had an LED. Thankfully Rex comes out the box with that feature.

Yeah, that is a bit worrisome. Again, I think the plated gold kills the uniform look of Rex but I can see where people would want an enlarged pair of wings for combined mode.

Just eyeballing it from my Rex on the shelf over there, they look pretty close to the same size. If they are bigger, I don't think it's by much...

Crazy Devy made an awesome G1 head and purple cement barrel for Hercules which I am very happy to own. I couldn't picture my Hercules without it. Looking at Feral Rex's wings, they basically are held on by a screw so swapping wont cause damage.

$40 isn't going to make or break me. Here are my 2 biggest concerns:


1. I like Feral Rex's wings the size they are. (mainly for Talon) I wouldn't mind the chrome, but don't want Talon looking silly with huge wings.

2. Will the gold chrome match the Reprolabels chrome sets should I decide to buy them ? That will play a huge factor for me even if they were the same size as the original wings.

That's telling it X! The one face saving product is a hyper detailed head and cement barel.

The stock Hercules head blows monkey balls and the green barrel isn't cartoon accurate. I could live without the 65 bucks I spent on them. Ive spent more on beer a few times...

I like the stock Herc head <*shrugs*>, but I have to admit I bought the replacement barrel. It is one of the few CD items I have. It's perfectly fine, but was overpriced.

I guess it all boils down to personal taste. Im not an IDW guy so neither the original or "Rage" Hercules heads were for me. I also replaced my Uranus head with the SXS head. (I use the faceplate)

As far as beer, It's my day off so Im drinking this...

Guys. Just buy a can of purple spray paint. It ain't rocket science and it's a lot cheaper.

On topic, these look pretty cool, but I am aware CD charges ridiculous amounts for their stuff, and on top of that Ares would be my Predaking of choice anyway. So no use for me. Maybe for a custom...

Some people just aren't comfortable customizing things themselves. I know I'm not - I bought the CD barrel.

I would have jumped on these easily if they added an extra rotational axis for that extra wing posability. I've got no use for blings.

same here. i bought that, a head upgrade (not rage, that other one pic below) and i would have bought the gun/shoulder upgrade but it was expensive and i only wanted the gun.
