Awesome! Metroplex-like hands, a little bit of a height boost with those boots, and an arsenal for the individual guys. Definitely the "Combiner Wars" now, and will be a good addition to my shelf (when I actually get CW figures).

I like the look of this. I will be following closely. It reminds me of the days of FansProject add on kits.... Ah the nostalgia

Just gives it that little bit extra needed to stand toe to toe with my other 3rd party combiners. I'm getting the Stunticons too but they won't be combining unless Perfect Effect manage to polish a turd. If they do try something for the Stunticons I hope they manage to integrate the roof top weapons for vehicle mode.

Ah, here comes the inevitable upgrades for the CW figures! Count me in.

Not fussed about extra weapons since I'll rarely ever have them posed individually, but I'm sure I've got a few figures that they'll come in handy for.

having a whole team of mini-gun wielding robots is kinda silly (and overkill). but them hands and feet are a must have. with the amount of people buying into CW, theyre lucky they were the first with an upgrade set. thats a license to print money right there.

Awesome. I just hope they fit the upcoming 3rd party slingshot so we can get rid of that crappy helicoptor. Not sure if this will replace uranus but it looks really nice. I just find it amusing how the "Hasbro only" crowd will try to defend the stock hands and feet. They will cry about the price as an excuse unless they are really bold enough to say he looks better stock, lol.

I'm hoping a 3rd party company creates a brand new Ultra scale mold for CW Motormaster. That is a one piece truck+trailer that transforms into a robot mode. Really want a CW Motormaster that looks like the 1985 toy in both modes.

Other than the CW Motormaster toy being a failure in my eyes. Truly think the other Four CW Stunticons are amazing awesome sculpted toys.

For me Motormaster only fails as part of Menasor. His alt mode (even if it's not a total G1 homage) and robot mode both look great to me. Which is why I'll probably never combine the hasbro stunticons and just use fansprojects Menasor to battle it out with CW Superion.

Surely, it must do. I'd imagine they'd make the 3P Slingshot with the same size holes for weapons and feet/hands as the Hasbro versions. It'd be silly not to.

I'm not Hasbro only, but I do prefer to collect the originals if they're good enough. Superion certainly is good enough, but the hands and feet aren't amazing, albeit they'll do. Sure, these new hands/feet are much better, but it really does depend on price, especially since I'm not interested on the extra weapons whatsoever. I like Alpha Bravo, for the record. I think he's better than the jets, but yes, I'd much rather Slingshot to complete the team.

Looks good, but I wish they had made replacement antennas for Superion's head. The rubber ones are crap and don't even orientate properly in robot mode which really spoils the look.

Over to you then Dr Wu... :-?

Nah, we don't need a 3P to replace something that small. Just get someone on Shapeways to do it.

Think these 3rd party PE hands and feet look a bit oversized.

Noticed that neither the HasTak nor the PE CW Superion feet and hands homage the 1985 toy Superion Hands and feet sculpts.

Don't see a problem with the HasTak CW Superion Hands and feet. No desire to replace them with exspensive 3rd party hands and feet that will probably cost almost the same price as all Five HasTak USA $85 CW Aerialbots combiners toys.

While most of the CW Combiners don't appear to have their 1985 combiners individual original sculpted weapons. Each CW Combiner team member does come with a individual weapon and that is good enough for me.

It worth noting these PE CW Combiners individual replacements weapons also do not homage any of the 1985 TF combiners Aerialbots team members weapons.

If I buy any 3rd party CW Combiners products. It might be replacements figures not accessories. But they need to be priced low around $55 to $70 for a deluxe and around $70 to $85 for a Voyager, $90 to $105 for a Ultra toy. Basically UT deluxe-mega toy scale combiners prices or pre-order MMC Voyager Predacons prices.

You gotta admit, the oversized feet fixes the monkey arms syndrome superion suffers with the stock feet. The stock feet and hands were made silly looking for the sole purpose of child playability which I dont care about as an adult collector who just displays figures on a shelf. So an upgrade to make superion look less like a toy and more like an adult collectible is a welcome addition. Im with you on the guns. I dont need them and they will most likely either find a permanent home in my parts box or maybe arm up some unicron trilogy molds who need better weapons. But I do recall you advocating certain figures getting better 3rd party hands, so Im suprised youre not on board with this set. You have created several threads saying 3rd parties should upgrade the flaws on certain Hasbro figures. It appears that these guys are doing just that. I would rather see perfect effect do more stuff like this and less stuff like warden.

If I'm not wrong the 2 blasters held by Alpha Bravo and Fireflight actually transform into Superion's hands. So there are no superfluous weapons as they all serve a purpose.

Good eye! I was trying to figure out what they were outside of being hands.

I understand why they just changed the colour for Menasor, but I actually hoped they'd change the design slightly. Also, I thought they'd add something a little extra for Menasor like his shoulder pads, for example.

same here. the sets are still good, but kind of a bummer theyre the same.

anyone think about how odd it would look to have a team of purple minigun weilding robots? :-?

Love that the weapons ARE the hands/feet - Perfect Effect nails it. These look amazing, and it's totally bought. Any predictions on price point?

Also... hopefully the Menasor versions will be slightly remolded. I don't care if the weapons are the same (though that's A LOT of gattling gun to go around), but it would be nice if we got some sharper/pointier/blockier/something detailing instead of the rounded-boot look.

You keep saying that... but you can always just buy a second Firefly or Air Raid or Skydive and use that as an extra limb. Why pay for a 3rd Party jet when you can duplicate one Hasbro jet, save $50-60 bucks, and no one will be the wiser?
