I'm excited to see the diffences between this Grimlock and the official one. Other than their Swoop, I'm really impressed with how these Dinobots are turning out, and really wish I could afford to pick them up.

I have some interest in this guy, however he's not an absolute need for me, since I upgraded mine with previous kits.

We shall see.

I just hope Planet X doesn't do what Maketoys did with the G2 Laser Prime and ripoff the FoC Grimlock figure.

Might be asking a bit much, but I hope they show a little more ingenuity than that.

I suspected this. Since fansproject is really killing these guys, theyre last FOC cash cow was a smart one. I know alot of you guys will say "I dont need this, I got the Hasbro one". But then you will stare at the ugly fat stubby tail. Youll stare at the hollowed out legs. Youll stare at the kiddie looking dino head with the stupid light up feature. Even if you have upgrades from all 3 3rd party companies, youll stare and stare at the mismatched aesthetics until it drives you crazy and you cant take it anymore. Then youll buy this. ;)

No, I won't buy this. #-o I LIKE FOC Grimlock, and with him, that means I don't have to spend money on another Grimlock.

Honestly, FoC Grimlock is a figure that had potential that was ruined by budget cuts.

Anyway, I eagerly await this. Planet X's ther stuff has been nothing short of superb and I'm sure this will be no different.

Indeed, depending on how this looks, I might be very interested. I like my Grinlock with the add-on kits. But....it's just not very FoC...

Grimlock transformed in the game via the magic of morphing and cheating. His tail and upper dino body grew and expanded seemingly out of nothingness. While the Hasbro figure couldn't pull that off, I remain wary of whether or not this figure will be able to.

Ditto.

I'll upgrade Grimmy if and only if I feel it is worth it.
I have several upgrade kits and I think mine looks fantastic now!

I don't care about FoC aesthetics, I'm placing the 3P dinobots into Classics, so I'm picking the best version of the character as I see it.

If this turns out to be better than what I have, great!
If FP turns out to be better, that's OK too.

Why... I already own Generations Grimlock and the Iron Factory upgrade. I don't need this. My wallet was just starting to forgive me after making it bleed so much this year.

But I want it. Oh, how I want it. :x

FOC fans...just look at that nice pointy tail and that fearsome dino head. Just swallow your pride and get this. You can always use the hasbro grimlock as a paperweight or something. Ill be sticking with FP, but I must say this is impressive and proves hasbro totally missed the mark.

Why can't I have both on display?

You can if you choose. But it would seem a bit redundant. Its shelf space that could be used to display another character Hasbro hasn't butchered. ;)

Not unless I put one with one group of figures and the other with another.
