Could it be finally a proper scout sized reflector to replace the tiny PE version. It sucks that it has to be KFC, but at this point Ill take any company that is not doing MP scale.

Reflector Wars round 2!

I was considering buying an MP version for my Classics (Reflector is a small guy, so it may scale well), but I dunno. I already have TFC's and PE's Reflectors. TFC's are currently in place and they may not be accurate, but Reflector isn't one of my favourites. I think I just may have to take a deep breath and walk away. I don't need the newest version of everyone that may conceivably fit in my collection.

It would be a pretty dumb move for KFC to compete with Fans Toys MP scale Reflector. That thing looks awesome. But then again, this is KFC...they love to "Stack" up on failures.

But since KFC controls the cassette game, I can only hope they go by the G1 cartoon which portrays Reflector being just slightly taller than Rumble/Frenzy. Cassettes seem to be the grey area in MP scale. They are the only characters that didnt get "upsized". The vintage G1 cassette sizes seems to be universal for both classics and MP scale. So I got my fingers crossed.

But I wouldnt put it past KFC to use the Perceptor mold...again. I really want to see the Perceptor mold used to make Bumblebee. Then they can do stealth, toxic, and battle blade repaints before they give us Cliffjumper, Hubcap, Bumper, Glyph, Tap Out, and Bugbite. ;)

Think it's doubtful that KFC would be do Three Basic class toys for Reflector. Safely guessing Three deluxes or Three Voyagers.

Meh, unless it's an MP this is kinda redundant. PE made the perfect Classics Reflector a while ago (TFC Photron admittedly has a cool camera mode).

The size of the PE versions kind of sucks. In the cartoon they stood up to about Soundwave's groin/waist level, not his knee caps. So I wouldnt consider it classics scale. I think the PE Rumble/Frenzy were meant to emulate the vintage toy scale in a world where soundwave was deluxe height. (if that makes any sense) So naturally PE made their Reflector just a bit taller than Rumble/Frenzy creating a weird cross between vintage toy and classics scales. In the cartoon they were like mini-bot height so scout class would have been perfect for classics. They did have a perfect scout class KO of PE reflector, but it was crazy bright colors and hollowed out.

KFC is really going for the G1 accuracy this time around. Good for them.

Unfortunately, it's KFC doing it...

I haven't heard much wrong about their recent Blaster release. Maybe they're actually getting better?

I dunno, the bobby skull face review of Transistor was fairly damning for me.

If these scale with their Rewind/Eject (or a head taller) they will be an instant buy. Just for the sake of proper classics scale. Sucks that it's KFC though. They have stacks of crappy figures that they cant seem to move. ;)

One video reviewer, Did say the shinny paint is prone to chipping easily.

Noticed, That the hips joints have limited range of walking and sitting movement like BT Smokescreen had. Don't know why KFC couldn't just trim the lower half of the waist plate piece to allow more thigh walking movement.

At 16cm, that would put them taller than most of the Classics Deluxes I believe.

That would seem that they're definitely scaled to the MP side of things.
