This will be mainly a high lights review.

The KO appears to be a bit bigger than the MMC Hexatron toy. MMC Hexatron has a Nine inch tall robot mode. KO Hexatron has a 9.6 inch tall robot mode.

KO Black Hexatron did simplify a few parts. The robot head and neck joint are one solid piece of plastic. no articulation in the robot head. No snap on face mask parts.

The KO Hexatron robot fist were simplified and got rid of the articulation in the fingers.

Toy has tight joints and parts. Nothing is loose. Toy stands up well balanced on a shelf.

The KO toy plastic feel much lighter than the MMC toy.

Took apart the KO toy to do a few customs on it. Everything inside is simplified. Didn't see any pressured springs inside the toy. Gears inside the toy seem to use the soft plastic.

The KO toy color doesn't look black. It looks more like dark grey charcoal black.

Was able to do a few quick customs on the KO Black Hexatron toy. Gave the toy Alternators Jazz's ariculated hands. Used a few Lego's and a 2007 movie Voyager Class Ironhide robot head. to give the toy a better looking and more articulated robot head.

Since I only paid $24.99 for this KO i'm not complaining. It was a good deal. It's a leader class, That has high sculpt and great articulation.

Noticed the meat cleaver swords that came with this KO. cost around $25 for the 3rd party add on kit.

Would recommend picking up this toy if your a customizer. My customizer skills are around low-medium skill.
