this looks alright, was kinda hoping when a 3rd party did this though they would condense all the extra bits into a bad ass trailer for motormaster though. he needs one IMO

The upgrades to the combined mode are awesome. The storage system less so. It basically folds up into a gigantic...thing. Still beats the Superion upgrade kit's "head-shield" though.

Hands and feet are great though.

Is their a barf avatar? yes here it is

Think that half baked attemp at giving CW Motormaster a trailer. Looks just as worse as HasTak's Half baked mock, weapons parts snap together Trailer, attempts for Optimus.

Putting all of those extra parts on HasTak's CW Menasor looks like a half baked terrible option. As it makes the CW Motormaster toy look worse in all Three modes. It's pointless as Ninety percent of the toy still looks like CW Motormaster-Menasor.

It's pointless creating a replacement Menasor head that looks nothing like the G1 version.

I'll be buying the BF Lonewolf toy. As it actually looks like G1 Motormaster in all Three modes.

True dat man. Even if it turned into a delivery truck type canopy or something. It does look a little too big of a backpack for Motormaster as well. But the combined mode looks really nice though

The 3rd party trailer i'd like made for CW Motormaster is. One that looks like a rectangular trailer. That could snap apart in a few armor robot parts and combine with CW Motormaster's robot mode. To give CW Motormaster a bigger robot mode that makes it look more like the G1 Motormaster robot mode.

All the trailer armor robot parts would connect on the CW Combiners ports.

Envision the trailer parts giving CW Motormaster arms and lower legs that look like trailer arms and legs like the G1 Motormaster toy had. The lower trailer legs can even have faux flip out cab feet that make it look more G1.

This idea would also work for CW Optimus as they share the same mold. Works for optimus also as he sometimes combines with his trailers to form a super robot mode.

What's the deal with the PE Combiner Menasor was add on piece? :???: Think it's ugly and pointless, as it doesn't even look like the G1 Menasor combiner waist piece.

BTW, if some disliked the CW Menasor arms by calling them, too long Gorilla arms. PE's double over sized longer hands will add a few inches to the long arms some hate. It's simple math.

bigger replacement PE CW shoes will not make the short legs longer. The only way to make the legs longer. Is for 3rd parties to create add on or replacements longer thighs or shins pieces.

Think the only thing oversized feet and hands accomplish on a TF toy. Is making it look goofy, weird, misproportioned, ugly, silly. looks like the robot is wearing over sized clown shoes and over sized clown gloves.

Well, I'm certainly interested. Wasn't that bothered about PE's hands and feet add-on, but I may buy them at some point, but this is a must have for Menasor. Sure, it does nothing for Motormaster whatsoever, but it's not meant for that. I was really disappointed by the lack of Menasor's shoulder parts as it's a pretty iconic look, plus I'm not huge on the bull horns, so this is definitely an upgrade for me.

yeah its a simple thing for a 3rd party to recolor and maybe change any add on head for cw optimus. he needs a trailer anyway. easy reuse and way to get money out of mold. id def. buy both. how about a chestpiece that works as both a g1 menasor chestpiece (that doesnt fall off constantly) and as roller/optimus combiner chestpiece?!

Mate we get the hint you don't like it. You don't need to post it 3 times to tell everyone.

Why don't you just design and build what you keep "envisioning" for your perfect Stunticons.

The hands and feet don't look so bad and could always pose Menasor in one of the fan modes to get the proportions right. Even without the extra torso a fan mode could work.

The torso does fill out Menasor' back though which is nice.

Glad you like the idea.

Think it shouldn't be that hard to retool the trailer for Optimus.

Umm...no. This looks terrible. They didn't even bother making it turn into something for the vehicle mode. The head is superfluous. It neither looks better than the existing head, nor does it look more like the G1 head. They needed to make a proper trailer. Perhaps have the trailer combine the feet, hands, and a chest plate when in vehicle mode. Basically ANYTHING would be better than this.

If you want a more G1 Motormaster and Menasor then you should probably be looking to get Lone Wolf by Bold Forms. You can't get more G1 then that. If Perfect Effect did attempt to create a trailer and G1 styled armor then I doubt it would be priced any cheaper then Lone Wolf.

If i was to buy into more combiner wars i'm more into the idea of upgrading than buying a whole new figure at maybe 3x the cost which to me seems pointless when BF will eventually release there own limbs and i would sooner have a matching set then a mixed matched aesthetics .

To me PE upgrade is a nice compliment to the set and not an in your face look hasbros is a pile of shite buy this instead move .

As for Menasors head sculpt i like it waaay better than the CW head even if it looks more anime than g1 .

Comparing the two i much prefer the look of the PE upgrade . Lonewolf looks very stiff and blocky .

Which is what I like about the PE upgrades they're not giving us more then we need to improve on the hastak offering. Which ultimately should keep the price down.

It might be me, but is that pic of the BoldForm set has his legs backwards? So he'll have chicken legs?

Am I the only one who likes CW Menasor's standard headsculpt? It looks wonderfully monstrous and a lot less generic than the G1 head.

I must admit, I'm seriously warming up to this set. The sculpting and all that ridged detail just looks awesome, and on closer examination the kibble it forms doesn't look too bad. I do wish they had made it turn into a proper trailer though...Still, the spoiler/rocket engine arrangement looks OK.

to be clear, though, this looks great in combined mode and we shouldn't be surprised from perfect effect, just a little put off by the storage for it in alt mode. i suppose they figure either make a nice big trailer for a big price or a combined mode only set for a more affordable price.

The CW limbs are backwards for the G1 look so looking at that image he wont be able to bend his his knees backwards in that config .

Personally i didn't think it was that bad once i saw some proper close ups but then when i look at the head on that body it the whole combiner just looks terrible .
