I've had this add on set in Bruticus mode for ages and when I try to split them into separate robots I find I'm a bit confuddled. I can't seem to fold Onslaught's backpack up very tight. According to the gallery it can be done. These pictures show it folded up small and neat:

Has Ryan cheated and taken the head off to do this? I looked at the instructions and they don't show the backpack folded as neatly.

The backpack doesn't fold up very well at all. It's not just you.

Yeah, definitely a cheat. The way it is in those photos, there'd be no room for the gestalt's head. Here's the best I can get with my Onslaught:

Don't get me wrong, I love the guy. But his back kibble is a bit annoying.
