For the two previous dinobots the was a run with cartoon colors and one with the toy colors. Since snarl seems almost identical in cartoon and toy, do you think there will be a 2nd run with a repaint? If yes what would be the changes?

I am asking because i dont know if i should buy now or wait. I like him but would prefer a version with a bit less gold and more chrome. Maybe chromed head and tail or fins..

To answer your question, the different schemes were not toy and animation, but Hasbro and Diaclone toys. It looks like the Diaclone had a darker color, maybe dark grey or black, instead of red in the chest area. It just worked out that the differences in Swoop were animation and toy accurate.

Fans Toys Dibots Sever

I believe the plan is to have all FT releases with a second paint job, but with Scoria/Slag 's repaint run still yet to be released you'll likely be waiting awhile for a Sever version with the assumption that a Swoop/Soar repaint coming before Sever.

It's Fans Toys' X line of Dibots. Although your lack of knowledge is understandable because they still haven't released the 1st one yet. I'm sticking with the first releases for FT, and maybe the first releases of Gigapower (darker greys and little flame effect bonuses).

Yeah it is weird they released Soar repaint before Scoria. Been waiting for the "red horns" Scoria for a long time now.

I wouldn't mind if Sever repaint take some time. They are 200$ a piece and there are so many nice CW products comming in the next months. My wallet needs a little time to refill I really hope the repaint will have a bit less gold.

The Giga dino dont seem to scale well with the Fanstoys ones. They are much bigger. Plus 1000$ to get all 5 of them will be enough for me

They are bigger (well, based on my experience with Guttur/Snarl compared to FT's) and also have more gold (1st run, limited) than chrome. So that might not be your thing. Maybe their 2nd run will be more to your liking since it WILL have chrome. But that still doesn't help either the scaling or cost issues...

Didnt want to buy FT dinos at first because of the price. Then someone close offered me the blue Soar misb at a really good price and i got tempted. After seing the quality of this product i NEED to buy the 5 of them. Perfect paint, no scratch, tight joints, a lot of diecast parts, stable in both robot and alt mold.

After being dissapointed so many times by hasbro MPs seing perfection felt like a dose of illegal drug
