Does anyone think the PE Upgrade sets for Superion and Menasor are worth it? Should I hold out for another 3rd party company's product?

I would get them. Its only 40 bucks so its not going to bankrupt you. You could wait for the nonneff sets to come out, but they might take a long time. And if they dont live up to their expectations, the PE sets might become scarce and very expensive on the aftermarket. I have both versions in my pile of loot and the white ones on preorder. I like the really tall feet because they cure the monkey arms syndrome CW combiners suffer from. While im not crazy about the hands having tube fingers to accommodate guns that I dont care about, but its better than the oversized monkey hands they come with. Im not a fan of the toe knuckles and I cant sugarcoat them as being blasters.

I just got my sets in and put them on Superion.

I like the PE shoes, and the PE hands are just OK. Your mileage will vary there.

I actually kind of like the hands the CW sets come with, but I think they make crummy feet, so I will use the PE feet for all the gestalts, and choose which hands I will use with which characters. Superion will get he PE hands, while the protectobots will get gun-knuckles.
