That's a handsome upgrade. I will consider picking it up at some point when it's released.

I quite agree. Also, I never considered folding the doors in like that on the arms. Well done, Beelzeboss! I have a new configuration to differentiate Nightbeat from Bumbles...

I'm getting this!
I have a shapeways kit that replaces the chest, but one of the posts broke and had to be fixed and it is a bit delicate now.

I like it. Shame they didnt go for the headmaster, but that would have been too small and delicate. So will there be a repaint for goshooter? Then I might actually buy him. I would also be down for a minerva version to customize an extra carzap which im sure the club will have plenty of next year.

I really wish Hasbro would have remolded the chest in the first place.
As you pointed out, this fig has a lot of repaint potential, and it would have been nice if they had done this from the start.

Agreed. I hope that one of the lessons they take away from the Combiner Wars is how much a couple different body pieces can really separate a couple characters made from the same mold.

Wow - that's fantastic looking. Not sure if the head is really necessary (the stock head does a fine job), but I'm definitely getting this.
Again... that IDW Bee mold is such a work horse.

It looks like the entire chest stalk and head assembly, the whole center transforming mechanism, are all replaced, not just the front of the chest and a head.

I think everyone here's forgetting the important part. Briefcase.
