I don't think so. Orion is actually the first voyager size classics prime to lack the super annoying arm kibble, a feat Hasbro cant seem to accomplish yet.

How many IDW Primes are there ? I was always under the assumption that IDW Prime was just G1 Prime with a movie-esque split chest and those shoulder things which form the more modern roof in truck mode...

I would take this over PE's it actually looks kinda nice. Still not 100% on it though. Really depends on the cost.

It looks like there may be some parts forming going on.

It does look OK, but I'm in wait and see mode on this.

I was never interested in the CW Optimus figure, but this upgrade is making me reconsider. Will definitely have to wait and see if it still looks awesome once it's in color.

That looks pretty good, and will still probably end up cheaper than trying to find Classics Prime on eBay.

Heres a classics prime MISB for 40 bucks. Im not sure where you have been, but after the Henkei and TRU reissues, this mold is not rare or expensive anymore.

Remember, I'm in the UK. I'd get absolutely murdered on the shipping/customs if I bought that. Finding one from a UK based seller for a sensible price is...difficult.

Well nobodys gonna sell it below retail to accomodate the unique logistical issues of the UK because then there would be no money to be made. I imagine there are certain exemptions from taxes. You need to find out what they are and find a friend overseas who can make them apply to you.

So this should move him above the latest voyager scale to almost leader class? I wonder how the legs will fare during transformation. CW voyager Optimus isn't that big compared to the Generations deluxe Bumblebee/Goldfire/Nightbeat mold.

Exactly, and I ain't paying over £30 for a smallish nearly 10 year old Voyager figure. And no there are no ways of avoiding the customs tax without committing customs fraud.

For the moment I might as well stick with my ancient RID Prime.

I think you may be able to find the old voyager Prime mould somewhere. Have you tried TaoBao? I haven't checked for that mould there, but it may wind up cheaper overall.

Or that recent 2-pack with Evasion Prime. That was a pretty good set.
