Yes!! While my Classics collection is nearing completion (for my tastes, anyway) I will likely be going legends instead of MP...

Was never really a fan of the Gun-Mode Megatron... This figure is cool, but it needs to turn into a Tank or something...

...But it is Cool for sure.

Preorders are up:

BBTS - $52.99 4th Quarter 2015
TFSource - $52.99 4th Quarter 2015

Anyone else think the pricing went too high? Previous 2-packs are selling for about $10 cheaper. I think $35 would've been the sweet spot here, for a standalone figure and his large accessory.

Yeah. I saw the over $50 for Megs and ...

And then I want ahead and pre-ordered... #-o

One thing I'll say is if this is anything like the Ultra Magnus, then there is good reason for the increase in price. UM was both more intricate and larger than the two pack bots. Megs comes with the barrel extension and shoulder pad. UM came with those extra guns and stuff to make a hammer.

Still, over $50 for a legends sized figure? :BOOM:

Nah thanks, we already have a perfectly decent Legends Megatron. And it turns into a tank instead of a silly handgun.

True, but if you're talking about the Hasbro version then you've got Origins Megatron deco. I should've went Takara to get the G1 deco.

I still have the Legends Megatron from a few years back that turned into the gun. He's fun!

I actually passed on Legends Megs because I felt he was a bit too scrawny and a bit too short, and this rectifies those concerns.

Just not $51 rectifies... I may change my mind, but right now I'm not high enough on him for the price.

Okay, this is how MP Megs should have been designed. I love this guy! (I'll be taking some pics soon.) The gun grip is a rubberized, grippy plastic. The transformation is pretty neat, though there are a couple of spots where I was nervous, and a few clearance issues. The proportions look great. They stuffed in the barrel an orange colored wooden dowel that wasn't too hard to grab and pull out :-$ (which I had to do to get the "silencer" on the pistol. Besides, the gun is far too small to be confused with a real one. OTOH, Hasbro Legends Megs had an orange tip...)

The only complaints I have are that one part of the transformation really has me pulling out a small screw driver. (I'll have to look for a small, thin plastic wedge.) And like the recent Blitzwing, Megs might be a shade too big. These recent ones are closer to scout sized than legends. Last complaint is that I am not Deadpool. That crazy baby hand from the movie would be a perfect size to hold Megs as a gun.

All in all, this is the best representation of G1 Megatron I own. (I have neither Apollyon or Hegemon.)

Okay, I had taken these pics, but hadn't yet posted them. (Plus, photobucket is being weird about my deleting old pics to create more space...)

I give you Megatron!! (Well, nothing can hold him. I had hoped Metroplex or Fort Max, but we'll see...)

For scale, here is CW Scrapper and Darkmount

Megatron is so awesome, he tilted the camera!!

That dark background kinda hides the fusion cannon. I might need to make an adjustment if I decide to do more pics...

Merry Christmas! (Hallmark ornament)

Decepticon Legends. Truly!

I told Unicron not to use hot water!!

This looks pretty decent!

All in all, I am very happy with him as one of my Legends figures. I think he might be a touch big. He'd be perfect either the same size as that Galvy or the size of Classics Voyager Megs. Enjoy!

I'm not a fan of gun Megatron but that is an impressive figure nonetheless.
