Definitely more G1-inspired alt-mode and looks good as a limb. Nothing too terribly better in bot-mode. Unless this gets glowing reviews on QC, I think I'll defer to the PE upgrade kit.

I'll stick with upgrades. There's no real reason to get rid of the official Mixmaster. Sure, he looks like he has bee stinger butt and his front end is reversed, but an add on takes care of the nose piece and we all like big butts and we cannot lie.

it doesn't have a bubble but which is a big plus. if they chrome/silver paint the "head guns" and it's not too expensive im going for it. so suprised that neither hasbro nor takara painted them head guns. looks bad just green like the rest of mixmaster's body IMO.

It's not bad, but it's also not enough of an improvement to win my dollars.

I'm not bothered at all really by the original Mixmaster to merit tacking on another 100 bucks to rectify it. It's an easy pass for me. A simple snap on cab would have been just as good.
