FP has teased their newest figure Function X-09 Positum, scheduled for release in September at the Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention. Positum is a variant of Croc, the Decepticon known as Skullcruncher, redeco'ed as Optimus Prime from the episode "City of Steel".

Maybe that's WHY it's a con exclusive instead of a regular release.

It will look good in an Optimus collection. Personally, I'm still on the fence.

I think I will pass on the Crox mold completely with all the rumors that Titan wars will include a lot of headmasters. that Highbrow though will be brought. =D

Nice Easter-egg, but in the episode the "Alligat-icon" was made of Prime's Disassembled Parts, and certainly didn't transform. This mold might have been better recycled as a Quintesson Guard or something.

...Now this has my "kitbash" instincts going...

We do, it's just buried. I think the picture you just posted was one of the last posts added to it. i think both color schemes look good on this mold. I just really wish the Prime re color would have gotten a new head. Maybe an FPCore exclusive or freebie...something to set it apart.

A potentially great figure ruined by shoe-horning in this stupid homage. FP's Skullcruncher suffers for this redeco.

And I think Skullcruncher was intended to be more of a croc, if memory serves. I think that was one of the complaints about Toyworld's take on him.

Even though I have never seen the GI cartoon (too young) this guy is such a quirky transformer that he deserves a spot on my Optimus shelf. Gater not Truk! Instabuy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
