I just got this guy and the plastic quality is very good. There was a time when KO meant cheap quality but this guy feels really good. Everything clicks well and there is even 4 bonus features aside from the fact that he is now upscaled to be a voyager figure:

1. He comes with an extra head which has his helmet look.
2. The side windows are now present with blue clear plastic, but there is a small space under the windows so it isnt completely flush.
3. The fron of the car is completely diecast and it feels great.
4. the paint is actually better on this toy with a full Lamborghini symbol.

I got this guy for 14$ on E-Bay, here are some pics:

I am all about value and this toy has that in spades. It's 14$ very well spent.

Heaps and bounds better than the HasTak version, but I would still forfeit crazy amounts of doll hairs for a screen-accurate voyager Lockdown. You know, one that doesn't have monkey arms and a beer gut... :(

Dear Hasbro: When you're not just getting outclassed by, but positively humiliated by Chinese knockoffs, it's seriously time to up your game. Love, the fandom.

I mean, seriously. I won't buy this because honestly, regardless of how good it is, a knockoff's a knockoff, but this is disgraceful. The fact that official product is now being outclassed in quality by bootlegs- not third party toys, actual bootlegs- is just awful. How the mighty have fallen.

HAHA! But I think there is a distinction to be made between a bootleg like this and the super cheap ones you get at the dollar store. These are more like "illegal reproductions". And having bought the original, I dont really have much guilt over buying this KO. Hasbro lost no money of mine. However, as you allude to it, they surely could have gotten more of it.

They also have the deluxe dinobots in voyager scale: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Transformer-4-A ... 1772257213

Another reason I dont mind encouraging this seller is due to how blatantly honest they are. This is written in big in their item description:

if you want the Genuine Original
Scorn figure or you are a Perfectionist, please do not buy it , this price of this figure can not as same as the Genuine Original, The higher the price, the better the quality of the merchandise. thanks your understanding.

The illegal use of intellectual property is still wrong in a legal stance but I have trouble hating someone who makes sure you avoid any buyer's remorse

Those dinobots are actually quite interesting. any idea what the plastic quality is like (feel, smell) and what deco they're based on? Bland hasbro or the shiny takara versions?

I dont know. But I can tell you that Lockdown's plastic quality was very good. And the deco seems to be the Hasbro inspired one, but I havent taken the plunge into getting them yet. if I did, i would probably only get Scorn so he could be the same size as Grimlock.

Oh wow... I've never bought a KO before, upsized or otherwise, but this may sway me.
