I found these images on a great Asian TFCON video.. Nice! I love it! Don Figueroa's Megatron and Optimus Prime. Based on the IDW series, Optimus Prime comes in a modern stylized Truck, and Megatron comes in a Stealth Bomber style mini jet! Fabulous! I love the looks! Here are the snagged Images from the Video. These figures will both be MP-10 in scale, very very cool! I want to have an IDW display now on top of my Masterpiece G-1 line up! it's a great time to be a Transformers fan!





























I love how the Model is painted with the comic book white, rather then the silvers of the MP-10! it looks amazing! I can't wait to get both of these!!

What the Heck is Hasbro and Takara doing?? They don't seem to understand the higher end market, well Takara Does anyway.. Hasbro.. Not so much.

But Hasbro did give us a generations Version of the IDW Megatron, so that's a good nod.. but these from generation Toy will be Masterpiece!! I'm excited! Now I have to get those comics!!

Their Optimus looks good, but I'm down for that Stealth Bomber Megatron. Such a surprise announcement from this company. Hope to hear more soon.

I hope to hear more soon as well! This is not just a one off Megatron and Optimus Prime, it looks as if Generation Toy Creations is doing a full Blown IDW G-1 Comic Inspired Masterpiece Toy LINE!!

Check this out, they have also put out pics of a prototype Prowl based on the comics! So not only are they doing the Two leaders of the factions, they seem to be moving towards the car bots as well!!




I can't wait for them to Do Rodimus Prime!


Or any of the other bots!





Imagine how cool this Masterpiece IDW line of figures is going to be!! Tho with my shelf space, I plan mainly to get just a few core characters.. I doubt I will be grabbing any Combiners..Not much space for them.. or money while still getting My G-1 collection up to snuff.. but for the Hard Core IDW fans, this line is sweet! It is like G-1 that gets going in the modern era.. I love it!

Yeah He's pretty badass looking! I love this series of 3P figures coming out! If you are an IDW comic fan and want a Masterpiece line up to go with your books, this is the company doing it!! Amazing!!

Imagine what they do with their other releases like Star Scream or their combiners.. sheesh!!


If they plan to do all these bots in the image I think this could be the alternative reality Masterpiece line I have heard so many of my friends clamouring for!!

Hmm. If these were Voyagers they'd be instant buys. MP scaled IDW designs though...weird.

There seems to be 2 versions coming from 2 companies
generation toy and gcreation

the colored one is gcreation

Huh, this is... certainly strange to aim for the Costa era specifically. Most IDW fans these days like it for 2011-onwards with MTMTE being the biggest hit, and then the Furman era from 2006-2008 also being well loved. I've seen very little interest in either AHM or Costa.
Still, it's not like the Optimus design is far off how he still looks today; and people apparently did love that Megatron design...

So I just watched a bit of a review of Optimus and, uh.

Oh dear.

Where is the review? I wasn't able to find one for this one, only the GCreation version

Bit of searching shows the company making these is gcreation rather than generation toys. That review's from benscollectables

ok, so there is a Gcreation version that has been reviewed and has some worrisome engineering, and then there is generation toys version- based upon their J4zz, I am hopeful

Wow that Optimus is from G-creations? Looks like an unfinished prototype. And their Dinobot gestalt turned out so well. What happened here?

GCreation's looks better when photographed well (it's LUDICROUSLY accurate) but is an absolute nightmare to transform. GT's is less accurate but still looks great and is much easier to transform.
