Looks show accurate. Love the proportions. These 3rd party MP's are always so tempting.

This guy looks REALLY good. To the point where I'm wondering if Takara is making one now. He's very close to perfect.

I also forgot how awesome their Blurr looks. Reviews have been great too. Chunky, well made, fun toy.

Dagnabbit....THIS is the Springer I've been waiting for. I wish it was Deluxe or Voyager sized instead of MP, but this might be my first completely intended 3P MP purchase. (Others have been repurposed on the Classics shelf for characters Hasbro hasn't done outside of maybe Legends/Scout size, like Huffer.)

The only gripe I might have is the lower legs are a little beefy. Though, it does look like he could leap tall Metroplexes in a single bound...

I feel like I can safely sell my Generations Springer thanks to the availability of this guy. I know, completely different figures, but if I'm going for "best modern G1 representation" this guy wins.

Wait.

That's what I need to do with my collection!!

Also, I thought Springer got his name because he loves leg day. Using his Strength Shoe training for jumping over everything. I wish we saw that more in the cartoon

Gotta say, I'm really torn on this guy. For one thing, the robot mode is freakin' awesome. It's the perfect mix of cartoon-accurate with heroic proportions, in my opinion. The vehicle modes, though, have me a tad underwhelmed. I actually looked up pictures of the toy and screengrabs of the show to compare, though, and I realized that, yeah, this figure is pretty accurate there, too.

It made me realize that there's something about the "futuristic" made-up vehicle designs from G1 that never quite sat right with me. They seem more blocky than necessary, and end up being very "robot squishes his arms and legs together and lays down on his face"-esque. I never bought any version of Chromdome (official or 3P) because of this; I've been waiting for more of an IDW-styled release (unless I can find the Timelines version somewhere). I guess the feeling I get from the post-movie G1 figures is that the designers put the vehicle modes together as an afterthought, knowing that the robots would feature more prominently in the show.

That said, this is a remarkably well-designed tribute to the character. Whether I buy it depends on how I rectify my feelings about the late '80s vehicle designs.
