Hey all, new guy here. In my past few posts I gotten some great responses and advice on returning to collecting and the best advice I got was to get what you like. it's hard for me right now because i am on a low budget, but I had decided i need a good Megatron. I was very close to buying an Applyon as a centerpiece for my new, growing collection, but after looking at what Maketoys has coming out i am going to wait. In the meantime, I'd like a cheap KO just have. I guess I missed the boat on those $10 G1 Ko's that were on ebay, and the downsized MPs. All of those are as costly as Apployon! Seriously there is a KO G1 on ebay right now listed for $100!
If anyone can find a listing for cheap knockoff of a G1 megs or an MP KO for less than you can get a real one for please let me know. Thanks!

As far as I know, the G1 Megs KOs are just as expensive. Most are circa the 80s as in the cheap Taiwan UNCLE versions.

Try the KO thread there's a discussion thread about MP Megs and the primary ebay vendor who I will not name.

Thank you for the info. It does bring up a big question though. Why is there no cheap Megs G1 Ko when we have these all over Ebay?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/2816965798 ... noapp=true

If it has something to do with the alt mode ban import issue and I am missing something I apologize, I am new at this.

I'm speculating as being a working toy (as in it fires hard pellets) maybe the KO makers are avoiding potential issues with the Chinese government. Ripping off intellectual property is okay but making close to real weapons is a no no, especially the Walther P-38 gun.

As I again mentioned, waaaaaaaaay back in the mid 80s there were a lot of Taiwan Microchange Megatron KOs. I still haven't seen KO Encores.
