Lol. What are the chances that two third party companies reveal their plans for a Bruticus at the same time and each show off two different components?
Looking nice! Swindle looks so characterful- I don't really want or need an MP Bruticus as I want my MP collection fairly small, and the only MP scaled combiners that interest me are ones that work for CHUG as well (Gravity Builder, TFC's Piranacon etc), but I'd be tempted to get Swindle on his own. He's so smug!

Talking of which, how many third party Bruticuses are there now? There was the Colossus kit, Warbotron, something in between those, the multiple FoC Bruticus kits... and now this and the other one revealed at the same time. They do look cool but Combaticons are quickly overtaking the Dinobots in third party market oversaturation

Right?!
And I don't wanna jinx anything, but I'll bet you a beer that he doesn't partsform the thighs
It'd be cool if not. Partsforming hands and feet I can tolerate (though after the magic of MakeToys Defensor and his ridiculously well integrated kibble, it's harder...). Chestplates, yeah no big deal. Entire hip assemblies...no thanks Jeff. That said I quite liked Warbotron's approach where the hips and thighs formed Onslaught's trailer bed in vehicle mode. That was clever.
Actually, a bit off topic here, but I'd like to see a Devastator that pulled that trick. The hips/thighs could form a trailer that could be pulled by another Constructicon, and the forearms could form little treaded drill-tank things which could be transported on said trailer (and also keep the drills flipped out in combiner mode for DRILL FISTS. Or flip out the hands in separate mode for...mobile hands?).
Partforming is the best way to do it. Constructor is the perfect example. Without integrating then into a bot they can work on better joints and there's the bonus of added height.
Sooooooooooooo.... where's the alternate (Blast-off) chest piece? If it doesn't come with Blasty himself... I might have to reconsider this. The best thing this set had going for it was it's cartoon accuracy.
