The Smaller stuff by : Mech Fans Toys, Iron Factory, DX-9, Machine Boy etc

I thought I'd make a thread for discussion in a general sense of the smaller scale items made by the likes of Mech Fans Toys, Iron Factory, DX-9, Machine Boy (and others).

I'll start off by saying I was looking at the Shanghai Toy Expo event and noticed with interest that the same basic design of Dinobots exists under the Machine Boy brand in Animation colours and under the Mech Fans toys brand as Metallic "toy" colours.

Which is interesting as they are the same company.

Who likes the smaller stuff then ? I found it was slowly creeping up and biting me as time progressed as they were just fun to mess with and portable to play with.

How about you ?

This is almost exclusively all I collect from 3p companies. I love a lot of the products that 3p companies make but I cannot justify the cost; It's hard enough to fork over $44 dollars for a SixShot in the Legends scale.

OTOH, it's awesome to have a SixShot in Legends scale! War Giant, Bridge Watcher, and the Tyrant's Wing figures are all on my radar for purchase before next year hopefully...

I've got a bunch of this stuff on my Generations Metroplex, Fort Max, and Trypticon. When I get my shelf setup, I'll snap a pic. In many ways, I really enjoy these little "Legends" figures as they are usually simple to transform and still look great.

I just got Mech Planet's Hot Soldiers not-Bumblebee. He's maybe a little bit bigger than he could have been, but I'm not complaining. He's a fun little deskbot and probably as cartoon-accurate as you can get with a transforming toy at that size. Plus the price is right on!
