Aesthetically, kind of looks like a cross between MP-10 & MP-44.

Actually uses the same grill for both modes.

To me, this is a great Masterpiece-esque toy. The transformation looks fairly straight-forward and not the complicated mess so many MPs are. I like the detailing, and the white stripe on the cab.

Alas, I do not currently want to add to my MP and are much more judicious these days on my 3P purchases...

Pretty awesome. I'm not a fan at all of MP-44, so this might well be my Prime of choice.

See, this is me beef with the newer Masterpiece-style figures, including Takara's Prime 3.0: they seem to be too fixated on "super cartoon accuracy, no matter the cost (literally)." All I really want is a licensed vehicle mode that makes a good-looking robot that close enough to identify as the character, and I think they already got that with MP-10 and the following designs. This is too much "redesigning the wheel"-type stuff. I get that we're running low on characters that haven't been done yet in MP style, but if that's the case, why not move onto something different, like, say, IDW designs, or maybe RID15 Decepticons that were criminally left out of that line?
