I'd love to see a set of Scavengers or Rung from More Than Meets the Eye. I doubt that Hasbro would put one out so I'm pinning my hopes on a third party company.

Yeah! that would be really cool! I also think a third party optimus and ultra magnus from the origanal rid would be awsome since I can feel less guilty about buying fig's that look good to me, if that makes any sense. lol

Let's see, I've got quite a list:
* Pretenders where instead of actual shells the normal ones have independent action figures based on their shells, ideally with removable armor in the case of the human ones. That or Pretenders where the shell is more of a suit that makes use of fabric sections for flexibility, but that seems harder and costlier. The problem with the Pretenders was that while the idea of Transformers that can more thoroughly disguise themselves in a human, animal, or monster form is good... both components got it in the shorts to make the gimmick work. Now, engineering and upsizing can help that in the robot's case, but there's no way to make the traditional shell have moving legs.
* Pre-transmetal Blackarachnia
* Replicas of the Air Defense, Space, and Race Mini-Con Teams. Especially the Air Defense team since they're the rarest.
* The generic Ancient Decepticons from Cybertron
* The Cobybot just for the sake of having an accessible version of it
* Larger Animated Lugnut
* Cybertron-mode Animated Bumblebee
* Animated Omega Supreme and Lugnut Supreme
* Animated Strika
* Animated Hot Shot
* Animated Red Alert
* Animated Elita
* Animated Spittor (I realize this is crazy)
* The ROTF Arcee Triplets
* New takes on the ROTF Constructicons. I know the Studio Series is doing them, but those are simplified, and shrunken compared to the ROTF figures (well, maybe not the yet-unseen Scavenger/Demolishor), plus they're not doing everyone.
* Leader-class ROTF The Fallen, with staff and tear-off face
* DOTM Devcon - for those who don't know, that's the missile truck guy whose robot mode is based on the Cloverfield Monster
* DOTM Hatchet (the bestial member of the Dreads)
* Leader-class DOTM Megatron (I saw prototypes of one but I don't know if that ever entered true production)
* Leader-class DOTM Shockwave
* Dreadbot
* Titans Return-compatible (with some exceptions made for Krunk and Spasma) Apeface and Snapdragon unless they show up in the WFC trilogy
* Likewise for Crosshairs, Pointblank, and Sureshot
* A TR-compatible Hosehead
* Bodies for TR Nightbeat, Siren, Fangry, Horri-Bull, and Squeezeplay
* A modular TR-compatible body kit that can be built in different ways to provide different bodies for the other heads
* A PotP-compatible Dreadwind that looks more like him and combines better with PotP Blackwing
* Prime Master-style Hi-Test and Throttle
* Replicas of the Prime Masters who got relegated to being exclusives, complete with Decoy Armor.

Yes it would. Also, a crazy idea of mine I can't believe I forgot to mention:
* A Divebomb, Tantrum, Headstrong, and Rampage set that uses Botcon 2009 Razorclaw (the Leobreaker retool) as a torso. I think the Leobreaker mold could be made to work as one with some creative engineering of the other members.

Any of the renditions from that G.I. Joe crossover where they jumped around through time would be cool. I think there was a 1920's version of the Stunticons, for example. That'd make a pretty awesome Menasor.

I'd like to see the G1 Deluxe Insecticon Venom. Far as I know, he's the only one who hasn't gotten a new toy, third-party or HasTak.

Oh boy, how long do you have?

>Perfect Effect BW Rampage and TM2 Blackarachnia, hopefully more like Gorira than Leonidas...
>Maketoys Predaking with Zoids-esque beast modes.
>TR compatible Minerva.
>MP Megaempress (the others and their combined mode would be nice but I'd settle for just Megaempress).
>A CW compatible Menasor that isn't terrible.
>CW compatible/scaled Seacons, with the targetmaster gimmick.
>Maketoys to make a Leobreaker compatible with Striker Manus.
>MP Armada Optimus Prime and Megatron. Bonus points if we get Jetfire and Overload that can combine with Prime.
>A CHUG styled Strongarm that isn't crap.
>Maketoys MP Blitzwing, preferably with the Animated face gimmick.

Have CW-style versions of the Energon combiner components that can't be made with existing molds been mentioned?

It would be neat if more companies used the CW system to make other combiners from other continuities like that.

On a slightly different note, how come nobody's done a G2-colored Defensor?

Absolutely. I'd be pretty keen on (as mentioned above) a CW compatible version of the Energon combiners- quite aside from anything else, more mold variety would be welcome for CW. I'd particularly like to see the kinda-sorta-F22 mold, the Gepard mold and the front-end loader mold given the treatment.

Probably because even by G2 combiner standards, G2 Defensor is really, really ugly! :lol: In all seriousness though, it is a bit weird. But then I thought the lack of a G2 Devastator was possibly weirder.

Oooh, WFC Rodimus! Nobody's said that one yet!

There was talk of third-party TF: Prime figures in another thread, which got me thinking about Aligned in general...

I know the FP Deluxe Insecticons are old news by now but I kinda wish they'd reissue them with a new-mold Venom, just so we have the four of them. Also, if TFC is listening, a new-mold Scylla to go with their totally-not Piranacon would be awesome.

And while I'm at it, what I'd REALLY like is some CW compatible combiners from 3Ps, including fresh takes on familiar faces like an Abominus done with gribbly, technorganic stylings (Mancubus Blot anyone?), combiners that Hasbro isn't gonna do ever (Raiden), straight-up better versions of the combiners that HasTak did that kinda sucked (a properly scaled Devastator, a non-dreadful Menasor etc) and maybe even completely original combiner teams.

Agreed with all of this, especially Venom for the Insecticons. He's the only wave-two transformer I don't have some Classics-style toy for.

Well, somebody's doing Raiden. Who's probably gonna be in the 18" Titan size because of HasTak Devastator and Predaking (his rivals) being that size.

For a better Menasor all we'd really need is a new GEEWUN Motormaster (and maybe a Dragstrip). The source of Menasor's issues is HasTak shoehorning Optimus Prime's cab robot design into being a combiner torso without regard for clearances. Or gravity and play stress (stupid weak shoulder tabs and the direction they're oriented). It's annoying that they botched Menasor, who as a melee weapon user needed the CW articulation upgrade the most.

And yes, 3P combiners that are CW compatible (instead of using mysterious black magic, which is what I assume most use since the photos never show the mechanism) would be nice in general.

Well since HasTak will most likely never do it, I'd love to see a 3P company make a Titan-sized Armada Tidal Wave. The ability to split into 3 components is irrelevant to me, as long as he properly transforms into an aircraft carrier/troop transport. And I would like it in the Japanese purple color instead of the green/gray.

Even though I personally wouldn't get it, I want Fans Hobby to re-do Athena b/c the arms and legs are made from completely the wrong ends of the car :-x How did people let them get away with that?
An overhaul of their Overlord might be good too (On the other hand, part of me wants copies of their Overlord to start spontaneously combusting until someone takes a goddamn comparison pic with Legends God Ginrai already).

On a related note, pending an official effort... I'd like to see a HasTak-compatible (that is, uses TR/ER base connectors, Giga and Mega are the size of Prime Masters and fold like them) 3P Overlord scaled to Legends God Ginrai. Other key features would include: Not having the IDW paldrons. It could instead replicate the animation quirk they were based on (that is, Overlord's chest panels detaching from his chest and sticking to his upper arms instead whenever he needed to move his arms up in robot mode).
