Do new designers think of this as some sort of rite of passage, making your own G1 cartoon-style Optimus? There are so many other characters, and so many ways to interpret them that haven't been done yet, that it's becoming more frustrating to see this same stuff always being announced.

Not as nice as that other one.

Weird how Takara and two different 3P's come out with an anime accurate MP Prime in such close proximity...

The crotch is a little weird, parted in half like that, and each side has this roundness near the middle. But other than that I think he looks great. I assume the final figure will have translucent windows.

Optimus Prime been around for about 33 years and only now he's getting transformable toys without wheels. :))

Probably to better match MP-36.

I'm gonna catch hell for this but IMO it actually does the "toon accurate" look better than the upcoming Prime 3.0.

I'm preferring this to Magic Square and at the price of the official, this is looking very attractive...

All three look great, and I kind of want all of them -- I do! But that's just too much.

This one seems to be using the truck's bumper as a behind, and therefore missing the blue piece that goes from the crotch to the backpack. But otherwise looks like all the details are there.
