I’m currently not happy with the Takara upcoming figures but I won’t make this a complaint thread. I'm now looking into third party and saw some reviews on the monolith (stunticons) and that’s more to my liking. Now before I spend $250 on the current figures I want to know if any of you guys own any and how they’re holding up as far as quality? Thanks in advance

While I don't have any of the Monolith robots, I did recently buy X-Trans' Herald (MP-style not-Crosscut), which was the first time I bought anything from them in a long time. It's pretty solid and not too fiddly transformation-wise, which I see as an improvement over the last thing I bought from them, which was a Gobots-themed variation of their first-run Ollie (not-Wheelie) figure.

Well I bought and received Wildrider and Breakdown and although the quality isn’t quo to Takara’s standards, it’s 80% up there. Legs are the flimsiest part big hold up pretty good. So I’m convinced now and just ordered Dead End and Dragstrip. Waiting for Motormaster now.
