Much of the focus of the third-party companies, whether upgrade kits, cloned-and-modified figures, or new figures... is on G1 and the movies. There have been exceptions such as MakeToys' Galaxy Meteor, Perfect Effect Mega Doragon, those Animated human character figures from way back..
But there's so much more they could do for Beast Wars, Robots in Disguise, the Unicron Trilogy, Animated, and Prime, especially in the realm of upgrade kits and replacement parts.

Where's the reproductions of missiles and weapons (especially those weapons that form part of somebody's altmode!)? Where's a show-accurate head kit for Optimus Primal? Where's reproductions of Optimal Optimus' GPS-afflicted parts? There's filler panels for the minor gaps in Generations figures, but where's filler panels for Cybertron Optimus' leg guns? Where's a DNA Design replacement leg kit for Leobreaker to turn Savage Claw Mode into what it was supposed to be? So much they could do...

So who else would like to see the third-party companies start tapping this market properly?

I've said it before: I'd love to see more Animated, RiD15, and Prime figures. Mostly, though, what I'd like to see are more figures of characters that never got toy representation before. Not just "here's another continuity's Optimus Prime done better"-type of projects. I understand why those kinds of things are less likely to be made, but it's still what I'd prefer to spend my disposable income on.
