I will be getting both of these figures and then down the road overpaying for a Bruticus maximus set.

I had one in hand back when they were out in Target but I had a moment.. A noticed a small kiddo, maybe 5-8 yrs old and his mom..I noticed he was looking at the transformers ..I overheard him tell his mom he wanted " The robots who make the big robot"...My heart sank as I knew what had to be done..I waited until the kiddo walked to the next aisle, desperate to spend his allowance money and handed Bruticus to his mom and said told her this is what her son was looking for..

In the end I know it was right decision but I'm still waiting for that batch of good karma! I find 8 different bruticus sets and all of them are up to the $90 range....

I have a feeling that they'll eventually go down in price when the glamour and rush of this set being recently released dies down.

At least that's what I hope, cause I'm doing the same as you.

Between the galleries here and the TFSource video, I just had to put pre-orders in.

I merged the topics for the Seibertron.com toy galleries and the tfsource.com video review from Starscream so that we can keep the discussion about these figures in one thread.

Thanks for sharing this video with us, Starscream. Great work as always ... very informative and well put together. :)

Are they here yet? :KREMZEEK:

^As announced on Fansproject's website, these sets have been delayed until August. That's when they ship to retailers. It could be a little while after that before they actually show up on our doorsteps.

Despite my qualms with TFSource's pricing, they have pretty good reviews. I love the stop motion, especially when they were getting their weapons ready.

Uh, actually... Did they stop producing those? I can't find them anywhere except tfsource, and they decided to quadruple the price. :???:

If they aren't making those anymore, I might just cancel these. I did intend to display them together after all.

Pretty sure they have stopped producing them, but you may still get lucky and see one somewhere eventually. I'd still recommend getting the Bruticus add-ons, because you'll probably regret skipping them. I know I would.

And pay $130 for something that originally cost $50? Forget it. :BANG_HEAD:

My brother doesn't seem to care though. So I guess I'll be getting these anyway.

Are you referring to the Superion set? I totally agree, don't bother paying that much for them, but maybe there will be some extra stock at a different store, or perhaps someone will sell their used set. eBay is usually not worth it, but if you keep an eye out on other sources, your patience could be rewarded. :)

I've heard rumors that the delays where becasue it didn't work with all versions.

They did say that, but it's a strange thing to say because both sets are the same except for colors. I don't understand how it couldn't work. The only thing that might be an issue is the colors of the add-on parts not matching up with the original Energon figures, but I think it would still look pretty decent.

Those toys look amazing. I would love to see them do more classic combiner figures, especially in the Scout size. I would kill for Streetwise, Lightspeed, Nosecone, First Aid or any small Terrorcon or Stunticon. What they've done with Swindle is amazing.

Strangely, I'd love to see that Blast Off in a larger size to accomodate his alt mode. Can you imagine a Voyager version attached to Bruticus? It would kind of put the 'Brute' in Bruticus having him trying to walk with this oversized arm that he manages to raise and use it to bludgeon some Autobot.

Be nice to see Swindle and Blast off here repainted as RID Rollbar and Mo-vor at some stage.

i decided to email fansproject directly asking for a pic of crossfire w/ energon bruticus. i don't know how quick they are to answer usually, but if they do i will happily post it here.

Son of a ><$$#(&^ $$*(@&%$!!!! These guys look amazing. I had the FP Shadow Commander until my son destroyed it & I loved it. I have the Warbot Defender and I must say it is easily the best transforming figure that's been put out this year. I'm low on funds right now & really wanting a MP-03G, but I can get these guys & a ROTF Bruticus Maximus for only $20 more than the Screamer. Somebody please talk me into it, assure me that GhostScreamer will still be available for under $150 shipped in a few months. :MR-T: I pity da fool that misses out on dese!

MP-03G will probably be on clearance in another three or four months.

While this will have a limited window before it's snapped up, and then expect price x 4.

I went to the Fansproduct website and saw no link that said "purchace" or "add to cart"' I did see a link to create an account with login. Do I need this ??? What about other websites ??? I have heard of one called BBTS but have no idea what it is about or how to use. Any advice on the best way to get this set for someone new to mail order ???

You do not order directly from Fansproject so creating an account on their website is not necessary.

Big Bad Toy Store (BBTS) is an excellent store to buy from.

Go here http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/search.aspx?search=crossfire

click on view product
click add to cart
enter quantity that you want
click enter check out
at this point you must create an account
I believe it will then as for a payment method, you can use a credit/debit card or paypal
just enter payment and shipping details.
it should be self explanitory from there.

*note* you have to put explorer and munitioner in your cart seperately but you only have to create an account once.

After a couple of days of looking at Ryan's great photos of the set and looking at RotF Bruticus Maximus beside RotF Superion decked out in the Aerial Team Appendage kit parts...I gave in and pre-ordered the Explorer and Munitioner sets. I also ordered Warbot Defender while I was at it, haha.

GYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best combiner I've EVER seen!! Not like I could really just go around buying every little cool TF I've seen lately... PLUS the Springer toy looks awesome! He was my favorite new character added into the '86 movie, so I might have to get him seeing as how he's probably cheaper...

If you want Warbot Defender, I would recommend ordering it asap. The stock available online is the final run of the toy. When they are out of stock, it's gone. He is totaly worth the price too.
