The Energon Pub

I found both of these on separate occasions on ebay. With shipping I paid $22 for one and about $40 for the other. I know that they are cheesy and would most likely break easily if I were to take them out of their packages. I just had to have them. I had been looking into buying an actual UBB but these looked so appealing. Something that would be fun to talk about 20 years from now. I also could not find them on any of the KO websites...not even KOTOYS.com.

They seem to be exactly the same toy but with completely different packaging, front and back. One from China (top) and the other from Japan (bottom)??? Not too sure.

Anyway, I am looking for any info on either of them. Does anyone know of any websites where they were sold or are still being sold? Price?

I posted this almost a year ago and have had these stuck to my wall ever since. Not one response

Still curious about them. Are they rare or just junk? I haven't been able to find them anywhere for sale.

I think I saw these on KO Toys a while back, but they're gone now. It looks to be the same size as my KO Star Saber, which I got for $20. But you never know. Even KOs can appreaciate. Maybe someone's willing to pay ven more for it.
