TFcon 2010 Night-bird - How long does it take to reach the states?

Anyone have an answer? I registered as a non-attendee and sent payment long before the deadline. Still no figure. Worst case is I'll have to setup a trace with USPS (and can get my money back), but this is kind of frustrating not knowing what's going on. Should I contact the TFcon people? Will they respond?

Anyone else waiting for there's or it was received a while ago?

Thanks for the response :-)

Haven't gotten mine yet and I'm in Canada.

Hmmm...

Of all the people to respond, I'm SUPER glad it was you. Not happy to hear you haven't received yours, though. It does provide some relief as perhaps they haven't shipped them all out yet. I know you mentioned before that the organizers are reliable. If you're not panicing yet, then I'm not.

Continue to sit tight for a bit?

Thanks again!

I was one of the ones that bought the Alex Milne "Universe Divided" Poster, and never got it. It took a lot of bad publicity and calling TFCon out to get my (and everyone else's) money back. It went for almost four months from the time I paid to the time I got my money back.

I'm sure it was a lot of poor communication and bad timing, but I'm pretty sour from the whole thing and I don't think I'd do a preorder with them. I'm definitely not encouraging you to boycott them or anything, but for me, I'm done with them.

Well, it's the end of the month and still nothing, yet TFsource and BBTS already have this instock.

Man, this cheeses me off.

And thus we are reminded again why conventions with expensive exclusives need some degree of accountability...

 also still waiting for this to arrive. I've emailed them to find out where they stand with shipping these out and received an email saying the last of the non-attendee packages were shipped out this past week, but no confirmation number or tracking was provided. think from now on I'm going to just get it from tfsource or bbts. All this money order only, not knowing when its coming or if it's coming isn't for me.

Well, looks like my patience wore out a few days 'too soon.' Finally received on Saturday. I hope we get some sort of notification next year, though. Paypal or credit card would be nice, also. I'm with guy above. Way too many cycles spent worrying if the figure would show up.

Thanks again, MKALL for staying on top of this :-)

About the figure; wow is this thing small. I've seen the reviews and such, but still. Another poster above was right, it is very fragile. I've had to reglue the driver seat, and screw the right arm back together after it fell off. Fansproject truly set the bar out of reach for customs these days.

So, issue (for me) is now closed.

Well it seems that TFCon decided to send me 2 of these figs, even though I only asked for, and paid for, one. Thus I got to decide which of the two I wanted. When I opened and compared the two, the choice was obvious. One was stiff, (even on the right foot) and had pretty solid paint apps. The other one was missing some black down one of her arms and the right foot error was worse because there isn't enough to catch the foot, so it falls off constantly. It's a good enough of a friction fit that it'll stay in place in robot mode, but will fall of when you fold it in or out.

Overall, the one I'm keeping is fairly nice, though the extra paint on the sai blades mean that they won't fit in her hands, and the effort of sliding in her beam sword caused half of the handle to fall off.

Needless to say that I'd be more PO'd if I only got the bad one, but the fact that I hope to make half my money back makes the figure a lot better in my eyes.
