On August 3rd, news of 3rd party company, TF Club's rendition of Headmasters were brought to our attention (as seen here http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/new-third-party-custom-products-revealed/19448/).

Now I was pretty excited when I heard about these but I haven't seen nor heard anything new about them since the teaser of their Devastator Arm piece...that is until I checked Youtube. Today I found a video of the TF Club Headmasters. I haven't seen this video and I don't believe this was ever brought up by any on any of the forums. Anyway check out the fully colored versions of TF Club's Optimus Prime and Soundwave in their Headmasters form!

I want that Soundwave something fierce. Where and when will we be able to get our grubby mitts on 'em?

They were super distracting.

I suppose it could have been a female with man-hands, but either way it was distracting from what we should have been interested in.

Newsing this Frostic- Thx.

Who doesn't want another Optimus Prime and Soundwave figure? Perfect Effect looks to be making something Soundwave related, and we know there is a 'Shadow-Night Ops-Nemesis Knight Morpher' in the works for Optimus lovers.

But what about for the pour folks who want something absolutely different, and who may have limited shelf space? Don't worry, third party companies have those covered too!

Near the end of summer, prototype images were shared of some pretty cool stuff! Unpainted, interesting creations which included two items that could only be described as 'out of left field', prototypes for Soundwave and Optimus Prime transforming headmaster heads were shared. Not much was known about them, but they certainly created a memorable stir among the forums.

They so motivated member Frostic Prime, that he has been religiously searching for more information related to these two quite unique creations.

Then Frostic came across this, a youtube video wear the author shares COLORED versions, transforming them into robot, head, and in Soundwave's case, boom box mode!

Check out Frostic's find by watching the video. Unfortunately, we are no closer to knowing anything about these figures, but we're hoping TF Club shares more about them soon.

Although my hate for third party figures still burns (with the exception of City Commander, Warbot Defender [I think it's called that], and Knight Morpher), I would be more interested if they had corresponding Transformer components that they can actually combine with. Then I would be REALLY be interested in these little suckers.

Either way it's bad news!

Maybe he/she is a fingerpicking guitarist who picks with the left hand. It was a well-shaped nail, and clean.

Soundwave doesn't seem to have a neck connector.

No dedicated body for either of them to connect to? Well, I have 2 Skullcruncher KOs in blue, pink, and yellow, that look just barely passable as the Alligatorcon from City of Steel without any further painting (though many fans would want to make such a thing 100% accurate). I'd embarked on a painstaking process of precisely chopping up a KO Optimal Optimus head to shellform it around a chewed-up Grax and to make a head for Alligatormus Prime...but it looks like these guys saved me the trouble!

Now Soundwave I'm not sure about, though Mindwipe kinda' looks like he's part boombox in bat mode...

I was pretty syked when we saw the first images of these, and am still just as syked now!

Maybe someone should give this person (is it a guy or a girl?) some advice about video reviews! I found it distracting and annoying with the constant camera movement as well as the single hand work!

Maybe dude does part-time work as a Gimp?

Other than the nails, the Headmasters are bad ass! Wonder when & if they mass distribute these guys they come with the same type of paint job.

Those are pretty cool, and a great kind of oddball item that we would never ever get from Hasbro.

Not my bag, but cool none the less.

It would be an interesting little bit of fan fiction to use these for Optimus to control Fort Max and Soundwave Scorponok.... :-?

I love how we're discussing the person's nails more than the actual figures haha. Either way it's bound a bizzare/awesome find in my opinion.

Thanks Seibertron News squad!
