Reprolabels must be very busy

I order the City Commander set and Music Label Soundwave set 3 weeks ago and I still haven't recieved them yet. The website says they usually ship withing 2 days but since they print to order it says that it can take longer depending how busy they are. Anybody who has ordered from them, is this normal? Do they usually make the 2 days to ship and are just extraordinarily busy busy?

This question gets asked a lot. They usually get it shipped out quickly, but for shipping they just use stamps and send it through regular mail. On top of that, they're based in Canada. So depending on how far you live, it can take quite awhile to get there. For example, I myself live in Canada on the other side of the country and have had orders take anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks for it to reach me. Maybe if it hasn't reached you after a month, send them an email to see what's up.

I emailed them a week ago which would have been 2 weeks after I placed my order and they said that it was almost ready. I live in Kansas and I've heard that it takes a while to get things into Canada through customs, does it take a while to ship out of Canada as well? I am hoping to get them anyday now. It is my first order with them so I didn't know if it was the norm. Do they give any kind of shipping notice?

*points to bolded part*

Wait, wait, wait.

You emailed them last week, which was two weeks after you ordered it, and they weren't ready yet?

Then it's going to be at least another week before you see them. It takes one week, usually, but can take two in terms of shipping time, not counting production time.

So, let's see if we got this right...

You emailed them a week ago, which was two weeks into the order. That means you ordered them on or around the 5th of October.

It'll take at least a week, possibly two for shipping, which will put your order coming to your door on or around November 9th at the very latest.

So, you're looking at having waited a month or more for your order. That's...unheard of with Reprolabels. They can be slow, and I mean sloooooow, but not that slow.

You need to contact them and see if they've shipped yet. It's been a week since your last email, it's not like you're harassing them.

This is why a US seller should buy 'em in bulk, and become a reseller for them so people don't have to wait for customs, long ass shipping, etc. Sure, you'll probably pay more to offset the store's costs, but I'd much rather pay $2-4.00 extra and have peace of mind that it's coming to my mailbox, and I'll have them sooner rather than a lot later, and to me...that's worth that little extra.

I ordered once from Reprolabels, they did a tremendous job with their work, but the shipping left a lot to be desired. (I know, Canadian mail is beyond their control, it's them getting TO the post office to mail it that sucks. They tend to take their time.)

I haven't ordered since, because I'm impatient.

You usually get a shipment email from them. I bet they are pretty busy designing the labels for all the new molds coming out, like Tracks, Wheeljack etc.

I don't recall if they send shipping notices, but it's been awhile since I ordered from them. They must be extremely busy if it took them more than 2 weeks just to send it out...

As for Canada Post, I don't know if Canada Customs has anything to do with outgoing mail, but yes, it does seem quite slow. When I send packages to the US it usually takes 3 weeks minimum. The Reprolabels shipment to Ireland for Jimmy Drift it must've been gotten there by airmail, hence only taking a week.

interesting. has not ordering from them got you stuff sooner?* :P

anyway, I have no idea about any of this, other than if it has been over a week since they said the order was nearly ready, get back to them and check if it's posted yet. No point being all anxious waiting for the delivery if it's not been sent yet.

*032, I do actually totally understand, and tend to use similar factors in deciding to order/re-order from places.

Funny, I just went to check in on my recent order moments ago. My dealings with Reprolabels in past have been more or less alright, but the time from order to receiving has always fluctuated each time something was ordered. My first order took around a month or more, but the next time it arrived in days, then 2 weeks, then one weekend. I dunno what the deal is, but I've come to accept it as the norm since it's Canada post.

It kind of sucks waiting since I was anxious to get them. I have heard good things about reprolabels and it seems everyone has had different experiences with shipping time. If they are good labels than I wont let this deter me from future orders unless it takes forever again.
