The next FansProject.

As we all know, the release of TFX-04 Protector is coming soon. Also, in the instructions for TF-Crossfire 02, it hinted at a TF-Crossfire 03 (Most likely meant for the Classics release of Devastator.) Well, my question is, what's next? Or, more accurately, can the following be next?

I'd personally like to see an upgrade kit for Galvatron to counter the upgrade for Hot Rod. The Autobot figures have more upgrades than the Decepticons and it throws off my favorable balance of power. Though, we did get an upgrade for Optimus, I feel it wasn't really a necessary one, so why put resources into an upgrade for Megatron to counter. Especially since there isn't really a lot more you can do with the Classics Megatron mold. That is why I'd like to see the upgrade for Galvatron. He's a nice, deluxe class figure, whose alt mode is nothing like that of his G1 counterpart (though it is a creative reincarnation). I'd like to see an upgrade that gives you the option to have a more G1-esque alt mode for Galvatron, and make his robot mode more.... Awesome.

I'd like to know what your thoughts are on this? Can you dig what I'm dishin' out? :P

I wouldn't mind seeing a series of small cheap "Sidearm" sets that create Targetmaster partners for those without, considering that the new Scourge figure won't have Fracas.

And it'd also be nice to do that to get a few more cheap FansProject sets before jumping into another full add-on. ;)

That Galvatron is beyond saving. I'd rather see them make their own "Warbot: Herald" or something. But what I want to see most from them would be a completely original Menasor. Between the Defender and the Combaticons they made, I really feel they have what it takes to Make 5 individually sold Stunticons that combine into something akin to the recent IDW version. Heck knowing FP they'd have adapter pieces that give you the option to use the Mirage repaint Dragstrip.

It would blow away sliced bread as the best thing since.

They made their plans known a long time back. Glaciarbot seems like the most logical next step, but it could be Broadside or the Junkions.

Id love to see a Galvatron upgrade.either an add on kit or a Warbot type deal.

Personally, I'd love to see their Broadside that they hinted at a few years back.

For some reason I have a soft spot for that character.

Well since FP did a great job with the Superion upgrade and a fantastic job with Bruticus, now i would like to see them tackle Classic Devastator! Maybe we could see 3 new revised figures like they did with Bruticus upgrade kit.

eh...the upgrades are nice but i would rather them do more figures like they did warbot:defender. they showed artwork of their own combiner they were working on and of broadside. both of those would be awesome.

It'd be great if they did a third Crossfire set for Devastator.

I'd really like the Broadside figure released though. I'd take a repaint/remold of Warbot as Sandstorm as well if they need more funds for the coffers.

I didn't pick up the Defender because I was hoping for an official Springer. But, if FansProject is going to tackle all the Autobot Triple Changers, I'm gonna pick all of them up.

Aside from a Devastator upgrade that I'm hoping is Crossfire 3, I can't imagine there are many more full upgrade sets to be made. Classics Prime, Magnus, and Rodimus now all have their trailers, and two of the three (and hopefully the third) combiner sets have appendage add-ons. Is there really much more they could do in the upgrade department? I can't imagine.

I see the upgrade sets as starter pieces that both upgrades existing figures and gives them practice at designing conversion toys. I'd bet that now they'll start to branch out more into more original (mostly) figures like Warbots and combiners.

I agree with you but Fansproject is probably still going to do smaller upgrades. They got the big ones out of the way but if anything else warrants one, there's no doubt in my mind that they'd make it.

SAME HERE!!!I would love to see them do another warbot of Blitzwing.

If they are planning on doing something for Devastator, I'm going to hate myself for ever getting rid of him..

I really don't know how they could to a Galvatron add-on. The figure just doesn't have much space or articulation to accomodate extra parts. Not to mention that I have no idea how they'd get a huge space cannon out of a tank, no matter how many parts they add. G needs a new version from the ground up.

Why not just buy the Voyager KO Galvatron from KOtoys?

What I'd like to see is trailer/armour that allows Nemesis Prime become Motormaster.

WE NEED A DECENT MOTORMASTER TOY!!!!!

I'd have been happy with an RID Ultra Magnus repaint but they didn't do that.
