How will CrazyDevy's Predaking Wings affect the new Predaking?

So there's a couple youtube vids that show how even with the new Predaking Wings supplied by CrazyDevy to combat their wings destroying the original wings, there are still problems being reported. The wings are apparently too heavy and will strip the teeth that hold the wings up, causing them to flop like a wet noodle.

As far as I've seen, it's only been done on vintage Predakings. Does anyone have stories yet of attaching these wings to the recent re-issue Predaking? Will they stay or will thye be a big flop?

I don't want to spend over 250 bucks on something that will destroy itself in less than a day.

FYI: the videos I'm referring to are here:

jury-rigged fix - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVI76VG8 ... r_embedded

I'm pretty sure the new 'gold' Predaking is just a slight repaint of the original mold, so I assume it will come with all the same issues as the original.

I've got the 20Th anniversary reissue and I certainly wouldn't even consider paying money for an upgrade that actually degrades the figure!

It won't affect my Predaking, because I won't touch that garbage with a ten-foot pole.

I own the original all metal predaking and divebombs wing stickers were awful so I invested in reprolabels stickers and they look good as new and in my mind better than this gaudy ass things. They are far to big. I wouldn't suggest buying a brand new predaking and ruining him with these things. Crazy devy did really good with devAstator but I am unimpressed with predaking and superion. Only good thing so far is the sword for preds. And I will probably get the shoulder cannons if done properly.

This set does seem to have quite a few issues, and I've wondered the same thing about the wings flopping. Luckily for me I've got a set of full size KO Divebomb wings that I will be attaching these to, and if they do start to droop I'll just super glue them into the desired position. I would like to say that outside of their continually increasing pricing the CrazyDevy stuff has been pretty darn good. I've got everything they've produced so far except for the Legends Devy upgrades, and I've been very pleased.

I wouldn't do it. These wings are the worst idea they've come up with yet. I'm getting 2010 Predaking, and there's no way I'm risking damaging it by using this add-on. Even if I could afford it.

I decided to skip the wings. I'll get the head, sword and feet for now. I'm hoping that the mythical guns may porvide a supporting mechanism for the new wings.

So I got these in today and have been messing around with them for the last hour or so. As planned I've attached them to my KO Divebomb wings and superglued the wings in the fully upright position. This was a good idea, but they're just too damn big!. Had I not superglued the wing hinges there is not way they could have supported the weight, and they make Predaking really back heavy. The little extra support piece they included really helps their stability. I wonder what else they've got in store for Predaking? I'm hoping those feet they just announced have some extra heel support to compensate for back heaviness their wings cause. I'm hoping they do something for the thigh connection area to make him taller and little more proportional. Before Divebomb's wings looked to dinky now with the upgrade Predaking is the one looking dinky!

What's wrong with the "kings" head? It's perfect as it is. If any, maybe I'll consider the shoulder canons.
