Favourite KO/3rd Party Toys

This has probably been done before but what are your favourite KO/3rd party toys?

I've gotten a few:

Oversized KO Bruticus. All the Bruticus parts are chromed and he's the size of Energon Omega Supreme. Onslaught is on a scale with G1 Ultra Magnus in both modes.

Oversized KO RID Armourhide. It's probably just meant to be Brawl in desert camo but it's very like RID Armourhide's cartoon appearance apart from the Swindle head which is all black anyway so it gets away with it.

Oversized Robotmasters. In particular Wingstun and Wrecker Hook. Both are deluxe size and Wingstun makes a great partner for Acid Stoem in both modes.

Kabaya Blaster. Same size as G1 Springer. Fits nicely in with the Diaclones.

Kabaya Highbrow and Brainstorm. The Scout-ish size suits them and they look great with Scorponok towering over them or in battle with Snapdragon or Sinnertwin's dino modes. Shame they didn't do the others.

Orange Classics Ramjet. Another generic seeker for army builders and his jet mode's colour scheme really reminds me of Universe Sunstorm.

Oversized Classics Tankor/Octane. Again like KO Onslaught, on a scale with G1 Ultra Magnus in both modes.

While I don't have them, Munitioner, Explorer and the Magnus armour are all on my want list.

What about you guys?

I'm voting for Munitioner and Explorer, but mostly because they're currently the only 3rd party products I own(and I don't own any KOs yet).

the only 3rd party products I own are Powered Commander trailer and Knight Morpher Commander. At the moment, I like the latter more.

City Commander will always hold a spot in my heart as it was my first foray into 3rd party products and really kick-started the who 3rd party phenomenon.

Interms of utter awesomeness, I have to go with the Munitioner/Explorer upgrade to Bruticus. They took a decent figure and made him a masterpiece.

1) City Commander. It has forever set the bar for any future Ultra Magnus figure.

2) Not-Bruticus. I don't think Hasbro needs to make another Bruticus ever again. Their latest effort in Power Core Combiners doesn't even compare IMHO.

3) The Quints. Specifically the judge.

I've been meaning to track them down. You recommend them?

Yes. They're old, but they're good. The sculpts are spot on and they're sizes fit well with the Classics, especially with a deluxe sized Galvatron to interact with. In every way they are the Quintessons. I think it helps that I rather like the designs for the Quintessons too (even though the judge is rediculous; how does he build anything without any arms?).

The light gimmick works well. They came with batteries. Of course I hardly use it, but it's nice that it's there. It makes it more than simply a large ball with no points of articulation.

However, I have had some paint issues. This is Impossible Toys, after all. I had the Scientist's tentacles stuck together and some splatter on the death part of Quint Judge's face. This flaw wasn't on other figures, so it's very much hit and miss. There are MUCH fewer flaws than on Arcee, probably because Arcee has many more parts than any of the Quints. More to get wrong, you know? Still, there were no flaws on the Excecutioner or the Prosecutor figures, and I especially enjoy the Prosecutor.

Also, unlike Hasbro they don't use soft plastic for their spikes. They're actually kinda sharp. I also don't recommend putting the spikes on top of Quint Judge's head. But that's a personal preference.

Still, I highly recommend the Quintessons. They're even going for less now that they're pretty old releases. At least they were at TFcon.
