Thanks to Seibertron.com member Cannonfodder4000 for letting us know about a new, video review posted to YouTube for third-party toymaker Perfect Effect's PX-02 Ninja and Kingbat two pack. The video review, posted by Aerros1, nicely highlights both figures including all of their modes, shows off their paint apps which appear to be improved over previous Perfect Effect offerings, and the articulation for both. Ninja, a pink-colored homage to Kiss Player Autobot Cassette Bot Rosanna, becomes a cannon not unlike the earlier PE offerings. Kingbat, a homage to Decepticon Cassette Bot Ratbat, transforms from robotic bat to jet and then can be converted into a large trident similar in size to the Perfect Effect God Swords. The Perfect Effect PX-02 two pack is available now at all of our great site sponsors and both figures can also be purchased separately.

The bat mode really sucks. That defeats the whole purpose of buying it. The Ninja is cool but it is not real G1, just some comic book stuff.

I think I'll enjoy Ratbat, but I think they sacrificed too much to get his trident mode working.

Agreed. These are currently on their way to me in my current POL. Curse my love of minions.

FIR RIB! Had to do it. I'll get Kingbat, but not digging Ninja so much. Bring on Laserbeak & Buzzsaw. And of course, Reflector. :APPLAUSE:

I started watching it without sound and wondered where the "Ultimate" was "FROM" seeing as that's what it read on the box. So I turned on the sound and began it again.

He read it as "Ultimate Form," but it reads "Ultimate From." Sad that such a misspelling was missed and in large font too. Probably relied on Spellcheck and since "FROM" is an actual English word, it was easily overlooked.

I really wasn't diggin Kingbat until I saw this review. It's not the worst transforming toy in the world after all. If they release a repainted (more purple) version by itself I'll definately snap it up and try and find some kind of radar dish alt-mode. Would've been nice if the wing joints could slide forward so it didn't look like his wings were attached to his hips.

My only hope is that any cassette bots that get the Perfect Effect makeover in the future don't all take on weapon modes. I like how The Sun and The Moon can transform into plasma blades AND rocket packs. Even a Transformer can only hold so many weapons at once.

They are cool but I will wait for Rewind and Eject, I think they call them Ejector and Rewinder. They will not take long to do that.

i quite like the kingbat mold but after seeing this reveiw i like it alot better. i think the filp down tab is part of the landing gear for the jet mode, maybe if it clips to something it might clip on to soundwave when P.E release it

I think I'm going to get this set. I don't have any "Girl-formers" so Ninja will take care of that. Plus, I like how the trident looks with Megatron and will balance out the Magnus God Sword I have.

I'd love to see a photo of the trident with Fansproject's Bruticus.
