This set is just too cool, here are a few things I have done with mine or have discovered....
the chromed wing extensions look awesome on the classics body, they really help him to stand out
his gun w/ the gun extension stores nicely on the hole on his back
and bringing down the faceplate ever so slightly does a good job of even further hiding the original figures face/chin that i probably never would have noticed hadnt anyone pointed it out
feel free to add anything that you like about this set

2nd that on the faceplate and gun on back. I've also found that Protectors BFG ( if you want to call it that )can somewhat combine with City commanders BFG.

Just flip down Protectors sights and turn CC BFG upside down so that the traler hitch thing is on top and make sure protectors BFG still has the roller attached. I will post pics after christmas. And the chromed wings look good on 3pack Rodimus as well.

Would love to see pics of this!

Protector's Roller can plug into the back of City Commander. It's a little silly, but I kind of like it.

Did you quote the wrong person, or am I misunderstanding what you mean? You don't need the BFG to attach Roller to Commander.

I thought you meant into the trailer mode...of which 90% of it is made up of the BFG, which is missing at the moment.
But I see what you mean now. I wish there was more you can do w/ the roller, it just looks so cool.
I wish the G1 Rodimus Primes weapon would fit in his hand. Im working on a way to mod one to fit, will post pics if successful

I just noticed that the wing extensions slide onto the Roller. It even looks as though they were designed to, although I don't remember seeing any promotional photos of that feature. Now Roller can glide if he drives off a cliff!

Also on Commander, if you take the parts of his shoulders that fold, and point them straight up, you can slide the wing extensions down onto their tabs. It looks absolutely ridiculous by itself, but is a nice compliment if you have Roller plugged into his back.

How does the fist piece work? I'm examining the pics in the gallery but don't have a clue how it dlies onto their fists. Help, please?

I got mine in the other day and I guess I was expecting something more, so I was slightly disappointed in this set. Don’t get me wrong there is nothing the matter with it, it is a great upgrade but, I don’t know there is just something about it that I don’t like. Oh well I’m a con collector anyway so selling it off to my bro he has the bots.

The one with the white fingers plugs into Protector's fist and the other peg goes into Prime's.

Finally got my Protector. Didn't have any problems sliding Classics Rodimus into his new trailer, but just the same, I don't think I'll try it with Henkei Rodimus. Even a tiny scratch will ruin the look of the chrome, so forget it.
I think even less of the trailer makes up the robot this time .... but that's okay. It's still a very satisfying end product and definately the best Rodimus Prime we've ever gotten so far. Looks very nice, he's very posable and I love the bulky, angled look. It's a pretty easy set to master too. Just took one try and I've pretty much got it.
The comic is laughably generic, though. I can understand generic product names, but they use Leader as a proper name so often that I find myself chuckling. And the only real name in the entire comic? Q-Deck! Come on, guys, you can do better than that. Interestingly, though, (and I dunno if anyone caught this; I haven't gone through all the comments int he various threads) we get illustrations of the not-Junkions in the book. They're shadowed and undetailed, but they're there. Despite Wreck-gar coming out and Scrap Heap, I'm still looking forward to FP's Junkions.

I agree, until MP Roddy comes out this is BY FAR the best Rodimus Prime we have ever gotten. Im so happy w/ it that the figure "graduated" from my classics shelf to my MP and alternity shelf. I wish I had more room to display him as I would have him command his battle RV, I feel its beauty is wasting away in the box

Finally got my Rodimus in the mail to go with the trailer. LOVE the combined toy. Although I agree with peaugh in his video review, that it looks better without the wing extensions. 'Course, I also leave the legs off of Powered Commander.
