Now that we got Protector, any word on when Shadow Scyther will be released?

Hopefully it will be closely followed by an announcement for a blue repaint of the Protector armor to go with the upcoming TFCC Side Burn.

Not saying it would look bad or that it wouldn't be interesting but I'd pass. Sideburn wasn't a Prime and has no reason to upgrade. At least none I could think of. Just doesn't make any sense to me in my TF fiction world. Having said that, I can imagine it'd be pretty in blue.

The only reason why I'll have to pass on Shadow Scyther is because I don't want to pay the OUTRAGEOUS price for either Wildrider or Shattered Glass Rodimus. Sorry, scalpers, you can't JOO me all the time.....

Shadow Scyther is just too elite to rush. Preorders have been filled for a while now (a day after posting to be exact). No need to rush - I prefer immaculate paint apps and attention to details (still crossing my fingers for alternate faces - fang face, a goatee protector face, and a face that can be used with protector). In any case, I hope Fans Project takes their time for Scyther's release - I'd wait another month for a new comic/manual. A slight remold for the spoiler holes so that the middle wheels contact the ground would also be appreciated. Is it too much to ask for a coffin on wheels for the Roller fig? Winnebago vs. Hearse!

As of yesterday TFsource still had no ETA, but stated they are on their way.

You know, I love FansProject and their product. I love that we got so much from them in one year. What I'm not loving is Protector and Shadow Scyther hitting so close to each other and me still pinching my money.

TFSource said in their recent newsletter that it is enroute to their warehouse although they have no ETA.

WOOOT! I wish they will hurry up and post pics.

I missed the boat on the pre-order (was away for Labor Day weekend), and no way will the wife let me pay after-market prices... so my Gentai Wildrider will have to remain naked, but that's ok.

Enjoy the cool armor when it arrives, guys... and post some pics for the rest of us to see & salivate over!

Screw that, I'm painting my second Protector in the Sg colors Ko toys will make a sg roddy soo n enough...

Seconded. The red fingers seem a hair out of place for an SG Rodimus but it works really well despite that. I like the evil face sculpt, the scythe is pretty neat and with a purple faction symbol, it brings it all home. I'd say I like it better than Protector. My SG Rodimus legs are a little floppy but it's nothing that isn't manageable.

Same on mine. Scythe didn't fit quite as well as Protector, but nothing all that noteworthy.
