For those who didn't like the first yellow and silver version, here's the more accurate Sunstorm KO. Glad I waited.

Man that sucks! I guess I got lucky. I was just about to place an order for the first version and the generic purple Seeker when I saw this guy. My first order from them, hopefully it goes well.

I was I bit irritated to hear that this new version was out and it got posted the day I got the yellow one in, oh well the yellow one is now pi$$storm lol oh and if anyone is wondering on the quality on these they are amazing! Only two gripes and they are ones I have heard before is the eyes or lack there of just painted on now molded, and the hand are so tight I had to use a tool to pry them out.

I dunno, that other yellow one could make a good Rainmaker. The Glow in the Dark ones seemed nice, but I heard they're super fragile.

Anyhow, I think I'll make my second Seeker order at KO toys soon.

KOtoys has updated the listing with in package pics.

So how does KOtoys ship, do they send you a ship notification and tracking number, and how long does it take for your shipment to arrive?

A tracking number is sent to you, usually by updating the paypal order, though recently it's bene emailed seperately. I find usually 2 weeks for delivery.

I also hope you don't like packaging and throw it out, because they sure jam it all in there with no regard for the packaging.

Thanks for the info. I usually don't keep packaging, so as long as the actual figures are undamaged I'll be happy.

I got the Yellow Sunstorm about two weeks ago. minor gripes (i assume it may be the same problems on all of the molds)

just painted eyes, not recessed eyes
left fist is so loose, it just dangles. I just used a lil bit of tape to keep it straight.
left foot does not fold all the way down correctly
left wing does not fold completely up on bot mode. close though and I'm just nitpicking.

I will be picking up Orange Sunstorm, Purple seeker as well.

Upcoming releases I will get are:
Slipstream colored seeker
Black and Gold eHobby Starscream (Black Death)

not gonna get but will produce are
Rainmakers (maybe)
G2 Thundercracker
more Chromes

Their forum's always useful.

It's not perfect (is it seriously *that* hard to make this guy's deco?) but it's passable. I can accept it as a henkei-esque version of the guy.

Hey El Duque, I just got both the yellow Seeker & purple Air Warrior clone in today... from receiving shipping info via email, getting through customs, until arrival at my work place in California... about 1 week. Both look pretty great, and the joints are really tight (almost too tight!)

Thanks for the info! I'm in Oklahoma, so I can add at least a couple of days to that. I got my ship notification yesterday, so maybe they'll arrive the sometime next week. Glad to hear the quality was up to snuff.

i don't even really consider then knock offs, they are more like third party toys you would get from alot of these small companys that are out there.Another thing I like about KOtoys is that they say that there are more to come.
So far I had ordered nine airwarriors that i'm waiting on and the Thundercracker and Pissstorm :-? :???: ,well I guss I'll call him that too.For twentyfive bucks you have a new charecter to add to your collection, snd I read some where that they might come out with a G2 Sideswipe, Toxitron ,a bigger Thunderwing ,(this I think is a rumer) and they always have ko G! reissues that are not that bad. However Imust warn every one they have been known to mess up a lot of orders .It has not happened to me but thats what paypal is for.All in all I really like alot of stuff on this site and really like there different charecters that they make for the classic line.

They're decent, but like Prime Evil mentioned, there are some minor drawbacks that you'd expect from a KO:

(1) The painted eyes instead of recessed (as PE mentioned).

(2) Many of the joints are almost too tight! It takes some firm force to move certain limbs/joints, but BE GENTLE... I'd hate to see anyone snap anything.

(3) Conversely, my yellow Seeker had one loose left leg (where it attaches to hip) & a floppy left wrist as well (but doesn't really bug me too much). Same prob as PE's?

(4) This has been mentioned in various threads/sites, but CHMS uses larger flat top screws (than the smaller rounded screws of authentic Seekers), and they do interfere a little under the chest cavity, so that when you fold up the cockpit into the chest, it doesn't sit quite flush. And simply trying to screw them in deeper won't work (at least on mine) because the screw heads overlap the lip of the connection point. I've heard some ppl removed the 2 screws in there & replaced them with smaller ones, or removed them entirely without much ill effect? Don't quote me on that.

Overall, they are great display pieces and a welcome addition to the Seeker collection & beefing up your 'Con forces.

Yeup. It seems like those are the same gripes that I have with mine. IDK why the left side of the mold is poor with the hands/wrist, leg, and what not. But overall, still a good looking figure that you really have to examine up close to know it's a KO.

Havn't ordered the Purple or Orange guy yet. I want to hold on some purchases for now. Im hoping that TFSourc will have some Shadow Scythers available, maybe someone won't be able to pay up and I can snag one. Keeping my fingers crossed!

If there is a problem with KOLD faces, should I be looking for my busted Starscream to do a headswap once Sunstorm arrives?

If I do, maybe I'll do a swap on the body screws at the same time.....

I'm still not sure about getting any of the K.O.'s. They look good, but I'm weird about KO versions. Plus, I think if I hold out a little longer, Hastak may release him (I mean since they love using their molds over and over again), or he (and maybe Slipstream too) may end up a TCC exclusive.... Fingers crossed......

I've decided not to buy anything further until my issue with KOToys gets resolved (non-EHobby came with only one missile launcher). And there's been no responses to any emails thus far...

Shame too, I'd buy this guy now.
