KOToys issues

I have bought knockoffs from KOToys.com in the past and have been very happy. However my recent purchases have not been great. In early December I bought 3-pack classic seekers: Thundercracker, Skywarp and Ghost Starscream. Skywarp and Ghost Starscream where crap with very loose joints. Thundercracker is great. I've figured out that it's because he's a CHMS. (So the lesson is to buy only CHMS when it comes to Classic KOs)
The next purchase included knockoffs of G1 Snarl, Wheeljack and Sunstreaker. Snarl is good. Wheeljack I bought "loose" and didn't include his missile launcher, missiles or stickers or anything. Sunstreaker was good except he didn't have his basic stickers.
Then I bought the yellow CHMS Sunstorm - he was great!
My last purchase included 3 CHMS Seekers: Skywarp, orange Sunstorm, and purple seeker. One of Skywarp's wings wasn't assembled. I fixed that. My orange Sunstorm (I call him Firestorm) has two right hands and there's nothing I can do about that. The purple seeker came out perfectly.
So the lesson I'm beginning to learn is not to expect my KOs to arrive in perfect condition.

Uh ... They are knockoffs, you know. You can't always expect Hasbro / Takara quality.
As for the hand, you could ask them if you can get a hand piece. Send them a pic of the problem. Then you can do the swap. But it'll take a while; KO Toys is a small operation.

I just received my first order from them, got the CHMS Sunstorm and Purple Clone. Sunstorm was all good except for a floppy left wrist. The purple clone on the other hand was missing his chest fans/landing gear. I emailed them a pic and they are sending me a replacement figure, and I don't have to send the defective one back. The catch is it will take about 30 for me to receive the replacement.

Ko recently underwent a major site overhaul so Im sure alot of their focus has been on that. Ive ordered a pile of stuff from them and have yet to have any CQ issues other than a loose joint on a solid black Classics prime.
The 1 thing that has kept me a loyal Ko kustomer is their customer service. IMO there right up there with BBTS in terms of fixing problems, even though it takes awhile but hey..they are in china

I just received my Sunstorm and Purple Clone figures today (literally). And I just transformed them. On the overall not bad pieces. Many of the joints were tight, some were too tight. Very impressed w/ the chrome, they look near diecast (nice touch on that).
I do have 1 problem w/ the purple clone though. The swivel joist does not fit inside the cockpit when I transform him into robot mode. Either the bar is too wide or the cockpit space is too narrow. I'm thinking to try and shave some excess plastic.

Placed order,
Order shipped less than 48 hours later.
Box arrived banged up.
Opened up and both figures were fine. Some joints a bit loose, some a bit tight, but pretty much as I expected from a KO.
No drama, no problems.
