Third Party Non-Transforming "Rodimus Car" For Masterpiece Rodimus?

Would love to throw this concept out to iGear or other established 3P toymakers: build a lower "car" chassis with wheels, fenders, and front end along with an upper spoiler spoiler that match Masterpiece Rodimus Convoy/Prime.
One of the big complaints I've heard about the Winnebago mode is the fact that it's about 90% complete without even plugging in your transformed Hot Rod. If a third party company could produce an inexpensive, non-transforming "car" that give the same visual effect as plugging in your Hot Rod, it would allow collectors to display the Winnebago and Hot Rod (in either mode) at the same time.
This could be a great solution for collectors disappointed that Hasbro is apparently not going to release Rodimus/Hot Rod anytime soon.

That is a good idea. I think iGear was asking for ideas on their facebook page a while back. You should suggest it to them.

I'd rather see a Rodimus trailer shell that can transform Hot Rod into Rodimus mode without damaging him, but is gutted so it doesn't transform (therby keeping costs down).
Or even replacement parts if that's doable. For the sides of the thing.
To me having a large non-transforming transformer lacks a point.

I think both are valid solutions. Mine probably would appeal more to owners of the current TT MP Rodimus that comes with the trailer. It would give you more options using the trailer you already have.
Your idea would be ideal if/when Hasbro releases a version of Rodimus/Hot Rod without the trailer. A blank trailer that would give Hasbro collectors access to the Winnabego.

This is still assuming MP Roddy is confirmed for Hasbro release. I mean what use is an add-on for a figure that does not exist. I'm really more interested in FansProject's newest X-fire. Will the real Devastator please stand up?

If we're talking MP Rodimus parts, I'd love to see a 3rd party tackle a replacement crotch plate- one that's split into three sections (similar to MP Prime's crotch plate) so that the centre piece doesn't move with the leg parts/ only the part covering the leg being moved requires moving.
This is really my only qualm with MP Roddy. The crotch plate shouldn't have been a single piece.
