Just recieved my CHMS Rainamkers from ATS and I have to say WOW. The shipping took less than 3 days and the items arrived in MISB shape, packed well and totally awesome! I reccomend ATS to those who want the Ko toys CHMS items but don't want to run the risk of shipping from over seas or paying a ton in shipping. ATS is located in california so the shuipping is reasonable.

KO Toys actually has some reasonable shipping charges .... if you don't mind waiting a month or so.
I think people might be interested in the condition of the toy packaging. It's been my experience that KO Toys kinda butchers the packaging for their toys, making the option not even worth it (got CMS Seekers in package for their instructions and cards, but the package itself was ruined ... a problem for MISB collectors). It's kinda obvious Aces gtes some stock from KO Toys, so how does the packaging stack up? Was it ruined?

In all honesty I received the items from aces in better condition than BBTS or I would even go as far as to say that it rivals Tf source. A large amount of bubble wrap, packing paper and a appropriate size box. The individual boxes were flawless. I just opened the yellow seeker and the taoe used to seal the sides is actually removeable. So you could esentially open 1, and replace it all the same. The instructions comein a small ziploc bag and the missle have their own place at the bottom of the blister. I would reccomned this to a serious MISB collector...

The Seekers I got from KOToys were packaged in the same manner, but the way KOToys packages things ruins the board and makes it not worth it for MISB collectors. Aces probably orders bulk from KOToys, but it sounds like he takes better care to keep the boards in good condition.
Good info to know.

how is the quality? I'm not so interested in the rainmakers, but in the clone warriors more or less

Asidfe from slightly loose wrist joints the rainmakers are on par with that of hasbro or takara. The chrome on the launchers is some of the best that I have ever seen on a transformer. The standard shipping took from California to My house around 3 days.

Are there actually MISB collectors of KOs? If so, weird...

I've ordered form them, once, and will do again when I can. Reasonable shipping rates and ships with bubble wrap and shipping paper to protect items for jumbling around in the box during shipping. Ships fast. They also list the number of items in stock so you know what's available, and seems to be increasing the amount of items in the store.

I don't see why not. There are all sorts of collectors out there and the packaging, while looking xeroxed, is more like a variant of sorts. Also since these aren't like
$2 KO it does make them collectible.

I remember a few MISB collectors that wanted carded KOs to work with their Henkei sets.

Some of the KOLD boxart by KOtoys is actually kind of cool looking.. The cards that the rainmakers came on were all identical but they did look cool and in MISB shape when i got them.
I will say they available stock number by each item is totally cool.. It's nice to know if I can wait a few days to order something.

Welp, you convinced me... I broke down and ordered the CHMS Rainmakers from their store too. I ordered the loose ones, since I just end up tossing out the packaging. Love Seeker variants!

Well i hope that you enjoy them as much as I enjoy mine. The only reason I get Ko's in packaging is sometimes they choose the better copies to go into packaging. That was KOtoys though, ordering loose from them was a crapshoot most of the time. I always order the packaging because it's just that much more protection for the figure in transit

. Hope You like em !
