Made by Ko toys, I got this guy in the mail today from Acestoystore( Friggin awesome site!) and Im very happY!!!!!!!!

Ive been wanting a SG prime ever since I missed out on the botcon 08 set. No way was I gonna pay $500 or more for one so I longed for someone to either make a custom i could pic up or a KO. This Ko is spot on..The flash on my cam makes th window tint look green but it's the actual color. All of the details are right there , the "till all are gone", the crokked autobot symbol and even the "Not for sale" on the bumper. The most distinguishing detail though is the "Double shattered" glass. Both front windows bear the shattered look. The figure itself is good and tight and not loose in anyway( I got mine loose so I was skeptical). For the price i feel it;s worth it if this is one figure you've wanted but knew you couldn't get because of inflated ebay prices..

The not for sale isn't on the Botcon toy, neither is the crack on the left side of the robot chest. The real thing also has an almost completely silver gun instead of all black. I'm glad there are differences for the sake of the Botcon collector. I'm alternately happy that they're so minute so that others can enjoy this one.

I wasn't thrilled from the first announcement and I'm still not thrilled.

I know it allows others to get itin their collection a little more easily, but I'm the kind of person who doesn't like to cut corners.

This is still going to cause a ruckus among collectors in the months to come. Especially when inexperienced collectors don't even know a KO exists and buys this on mistake.

Which is why I wanted it so much. I know and understand that this figure is not the real thing but very similar butit has tiny little details that make it awesome. Im really happy with it. I still plan on finding a priginal SG prime( to be my grail!) I mostly got this version for custom purposes :P..I will unveil it shortly!

Sadly somewhere that might happen. I'm glad Kotoys made the changes that they did in trying to differentiate the orginal with the actual. I posted in another Ko thread awhile back that in this hobby, If you see something like a SG prime with a "Buy it now" of $275(more or less) that you need to be 100% sure it's the Sg prime. The blame goes to the seller for being a deceitful asshole, but a small portion of it has to go to the unknowing collector who impulse buys without doing research. I've lost many auctions for the simple fact that I research the item, talk with the seller and basically look it up from top to bottom. The scoundrels out there in the hobby world will probably try and cash in on this but it was made in a very small run, less than 300 peices I believe so many that in itslef will detur the turds from preying on those impluse buyers...
