Damn. Now they show us this. I ordered the original set of heads and the battle damaged version of Kup.

I have to give it to IGear, they did an amazing job with this. The difference between their custom Kup heads and the Hasbro one is like night and day, very happy with my purchase, just waiting to get it in the mail. Hopefully they make a head for last years Punch-CounterPunch thats bigger to fit the body and is a little more detailed.

I agree. I think they could make quite a few replacement heads for the Generations/RTS figures and make a good amount of money while greatly helpin their "image" as well.

not sure if I'll use them on the battle damaged Kup, but as Counterpunch told me, I'll feel stupid if I miss out on them. It is 1000 times better than the hasbro head.

As for this set, I'm passing. I don't plan on getting the E-Hobby set anyway. I have other things to spend that kind of money on....

I totally ordered mine soon as I saw the news. I'd already decided the e-Hobby Kup was gonna be the Kup for me after seeing pics and after not opening my spanking new United Kup because the metallic finish didn't extend to the truck bed…

I'm usually a Takara version snob, but United as been really hit or miss. Perceptor, Wreck-Gar, Scourge, and Kup have been definite misses IMO… Wish I hadn't opened that Scourge though and now I've got all these "Sweeps" with no leader

WOW!!! igear has had the backs for the people that will own the e-hobby 3 pack kup very cool.....now if igear still want to keep up their game and respect up they need to come up with a g1 blurr head mold for generations blurr and a weapon...and a better looking counter punch head mold but with weapons since this guy didnt came with none..stilli gear iam stillwaiting for more (fembots)

I'll wait to want one until they are sold out.

I like the comparison pic. Greatly shows the differences, subtle, and not so, between the three versions of the toy.

worked fine for me and I was on my iPhone. I wonder if maybe they have an auto inventory system to prevent overselling before the website is updated?

Figured out the problem. Currently working abroad in China and needed a VPN for the order to go through properly.

Like someone posted previously, wish they announced this set same time as KUP1 set as I preordered that one thinking the color difference wasn't going to be that big of a difference on ehobby Kup. Oh well, I'm sure I'll find somebody who wants my KUP1 set for their Generations Kup back home ...

I admit the head looks better than the stock issue head, but not different enough to buy. The cigar is funny, but thats about it. I think they should have invested the time to make heads for figures who were given a non G1 head to begin with.

Here are some heads they should mess with:

Goldbug head for United Bumblebee
G1 Huffer Head for PCC Huffer
Roadbuster head for everyone who missed that super exclusive set
G1 heads to upgrade Onslaught, Brawl, and Vortex for Fansproject Bruticus set
G1 Blurr head for Generations Blurr
Alpha Trion head for upcoming DOTM Sentinal Prime

Yup, I'm a sucker, I just bought it.

I'll use the cygarless head for a pre-crazy, but nice and shiny, Kup, and the cygar one for the hasbro appropriately dull looking Kup.
