Pretty lame. That's the original Hasbro head. The blue is nice but these are kinda crap.

Third party toy maker iGear has listed a blue repaint or their Bee 01, which is a reshell of Universe Legends Bumblebee. This figure named Bee 03 comes in blue with a yellow face making it very similar to the G1 Bumblebee BotCon exclusive repaint Glyph. The figure is in stock and ready to ship at iGear priced at $18.00 with free shipping.

Pass. I already have Glyph, and I'm making my own movieverse Glyph out of a Battle Blades Bee, painting her metallic blue and keeping the face mask on permanently.

Whatever happened to them stealing the Alternators concept design and putting that out in Classics scale?

I will be passing on this just like I passed on BB and Cliffjumper. In my time of collecting I bought only 1 Legend from the Cybertron toyline. And I don't want it anymore.

Do the posable BB that transforms into the new bug and ill buy it. Like the prototype pics they had teased us with and then give us this crappy figure instead.

My feelings exactly. It looks a little too "masculine" for her, though admittedly, they ARE robots. The original Glyph toy looks feminine enough.

If this, or the other colors were available at the Legend's price it might be worth getting. But I have a hard time paying $20 for what is basically a knock-off legends class figure.

Is this the FOURTH color scheme for this horribly misfired attempt at giving fans a classics Bumblebee with a VW alt mode? Meanwhile, no sign of those genuinely awesome show-accurate Shark Sentries that have been pictured on their site for years. No, they're just going to keep up the KO's and and tempt as many lawsuits as possible before any more of their genuinely worthwhile toys come to fruition. HasTak may not care enough to crack down, but if Volkswagen doesn't tolerate any exceptions to their "no VW products in war-themed toylines" rule...

...oh, wait, is Japan exempt from that anyway? They reissued the original mold with that new face 8 years ago, so does that VW policy somehow only apply in the Americas and Europe?

Why would iGear think anyone would want another repaint of this mould, let alone for $18? There are at least a half dozen RTS Gold Bumblebees just sitting on the pegs at my local TRU because no one wants them, and they're only $6.

Seriously, iGear, enough is enough. Stop stealing and repainting Has/Tak figures because it's cheap and easy, and go back to making original products that people actually want.
