Shipped to BBTS last week will be arriving to them in hand this week.

The walther in these pictures is NOT included in the set. It is from brickarms, our photographer painted it to look like a chrome walther and found out a way to get it to store in the wonderpack.

















The Megatron is not a part of the set. Just something I threw into the pic. But surpisingly it fits inside the wonder pack even closed!!!

Any update on the 'Dark Warrior' kit?

I think Dark Warrior is the bludgeon voyager head?

I think it is a ways away. Given that Headrobots is making the TFCON exclusive Stronghold.

There could be a onslaught mass release possible? Since they are looking at Onslaught for the Stronghold exclusive.

Good news for those of you that have been eagerly awaiting the release of Head Robots' BigBadToyStore exclusive Alternate Universe Hothead, it shipped out last week and should be arriving in stock soon. Head Robots has provided us with some new images of the set. This upgrade set for Universe Hardhead is available for pre-order at site sponsor BigBadToyStore.

Please note the mine Megatron is not included in the set.

After seeing the pics, I think I like the original better, but the pre-order is already processing, so I can't cancel it.

Once I have it in hand I will make the decision. I have to assume I can re-coup my cost.

You can cancel for store credit. You can do that for two weeks after it is in you POL.

I don't think any of these recolors have anything to do with the Bludgeon head release.

If it's delayed in design, tooling, testing... I'm sure that's a completely different team than the guys doing manufacturing with the existing molds.

After they have the mold, it's not a big deal to swap colors, but creating a new mold is a huge endeavor.

Bottom line.... I think they know we're all eager for that Bludgeon head.

Looks great! I'm sticking with the original since I like it better but this is really nice too.

Yep, just received my invoice from BBTS. Can't wait to slap this on my Hardhead so I can display the first one in his robot mode.

Agreed.

As far as Hardheaded goes, I'll probably be using a mix of the two sets. I don't care about G1 or cartoon accuracy; I just like what looks cool.

Regarding Bludgeon, I'm more interested in the Blood DX release, so I know I've got a wait coming…

Yeah there is the Deluxe upgrade and the Voyager upgrade. The voyager upgrade looks reasonably affordable. Helmet, two sided head, two swords and a sword canon cover.

Pretty straight forward and not overly complex to mold.

Deluxe Bludgeon, which was a TRU exlcusive two pack with Blue Ovelon Blackout recolor. That looks like it might be a bit more expensive since the pieces look to be rather large. The turret and head. Are there weapons? I cant remember.

I'm just not a fan of the garish colours of the G1-ish version.

I've really been liking the HeadRobots sculpts and quality... I even picked up that box set with Bludgeon just to add their head to it.

I hope Hasbro/Takara can realize that most of the 3rd party offerings (including labels) encourage buying their toys — often extras — to customize. I don't think I've ever bought a 3rd party toy INSTEAD of the official version.

And when I've owned a 3rd party figure (like Wheeljack) it didn't keep me from buying the official version when it finally came out.

That the case with most everyone?
